My guy dolphin may have allowed his Fields fandom to cloud his judgment, but nearly every fan and media member did to some degree. None of us believed there wouldn't be any starting jobs available.

Except the rest of the NFL

The personnel guys have eyes, but their record is suspect enough where Fields should have been a great option.

LTG thinks fields is a viable starter in KC. He's more "talented" than Mahomes.

Hell, Bob thinks he’s better than Geno Smith.

I had to counter my Fields hate with some over the top Fields love. We have to have balance in the message board universe.

It may be time to pressure other teams to trade for Justin Fields by having Kevin Warren come out and say the he is going to pay Justin Fields $2 billion to stay in Chicago.

don't cry for me, argentina. My team will have the best QB in the division by the end in April and possibly the best offensive talent, depending on what they prioritize in the draft

It's clear no one is picking up Fields' 5th year option. That means it's a one year rental at $4M. The Redskins, Giants, and Broncos should be in on that.

Reality: Raiders sign Gardner Minshew

Chicago fan: Yeah man Fields is legit, he is H1M. MVP MVP MVP. All teams would want him. I can see the Vikings making an offer.

Reality: Sam Darnold is reportedly on the verge of signing with Minnesota.

Well yeah no one wants him atm.. inquires were most likely made during the combine and teams didn’t like what they were being told so.. no trade talks. Makes sense.

Interesting that Hunter is still available, would seem they would be interested in him or Young, keeping paper available for an edge guy is the only logical explanation for the slow start to FA.

DT's are getting paid, Wilkins go crazy paper from the Raiders, you are down to Rankins as the only decent three tech, does seem they think Dexter is ready to fill that spot.

Can still see them adding Samuel as a slot guy, but the WR group was not great this year and the TE group is even worse, Poles will have to draft guys at both positions, the WR draft class is good, the TE class is average at best.

Connor Williams is interesting, he likely misses a significant amount of time early in the year, but you might get him on a reduced deal, but reading in a few places that they are fine with starting Bates, unless they think they can get a guy that can start in the 3rd or 4th round.

Looks like Fields is going to be throwing to DJ Moore, MHJ and Brock Bowers next year.

I don't think DJ Moore, MHJ, and Brock Bowers are going to be on the scout team.

There are worse scenarios than drafting MHJ and Bowers and rolling with Fields. Like Williams being a bust.

There continue to be whispers hinting that the Cleveland Browns could eventually take a flier on Fields to have him serve as a backup behind starter Deshaun Watson.

Foxworth suggested Cleveland may be able to get Fields from Chicago for as low as a third-round draft pick.

If I am Poles, I make this happen today. Go as high as a 5th rounder if Cleveland is unsure of giving up a 3rd or 4th.

I don't believe this. If it were true, Ryan Poles should be fired immediately.

I could be talked into having Fields as a backup.

I’m not worried his cult will negatively impact Williams.

No way it won't get weird in the locker room with him as a backup. You need to let him go.
