Michael Penix will be an above average or better NFL QB. He is accurate, makes quick reads, and throws with anticipation. Hopefully he can work on his lack of touch.

I agree and I think as long as he stays healthy I think it is possible he is looked at as the 2nd or 3rd best QB in this class. And he will definitely have a better career than Rattler

Chris Simms with some interesting thoughts about receivers. Lots of questions about MHJ.

He may be the first WR off the board. That'll be interesting.

Drake Maye needs to sit more than any of the projected top 5 quarterbacks. His highs are as high as any quarterback in this draft. The problem is he'll make an unbelievable play and then skip a ball in the dirt or overthrow his receiver by 30 yards. I don't know if his accuracy problems are mechanics or footwork, but I would take him over every quarterback except for C-Will and McCarthy.

Michael Penix can't throw a pass that's shorter than 20 yards. He has MAJOR touch and accuracy issues. He gets bailed out A LOT by his receivers. I don't see him correcting his decision making and problems passing at the next level.

Jayden Daniels plays in structure really well, he has a quick release, he is tough, he is already a better quarterback than Fields, and there's more wiggle in his running than I've given him credit for. That said, he's too light in the ass and will get murdered at the next level. He took a hit against Ole Miss that I was sure they would bring the ambulance on the field like in the old Madden games. Daniels is a 1 or 2 read and then run guy, similar to Fields. He can't pass out of structure if his life depended on it. He gets happy feet at the first sign of pressure and runs. He also has some accuracy problems. I wouldn't draft this kid #2.

Spencer Rattler should be getting some love. I haven't seen one player play with a worse offensive line. He's not as dynamic a player as C-Will, but that's the only player I've seen handle pressure better than this kid. He plays well in structure and can play out of structure. He's always looking to pass when he buys time. He probably has a B arm, but it's good enough for the NFL. Some team will draft him in late Day 2 or early Day 3 and be happy they did. He's been humbled and responded positively.

Reports in Boston say Eliot Wolf has fallen in love with JJ McCarthy. Apparently, it is becoming increasingly likely that the Patriots will select him with the third pick.

He would be playing for an awful offense. I feel like any quarterback who goes there may get ruined. They did virtually nothing to fill holes in free agency.

UFAs make the team more than I realized. The Secret Round.

I can see why they make it more than 6-7 rounders. UDFA can target the optimal fit for their skill. Also, it includes largely undraftable special teams positions.

• We excluded special teams players and kickers because of the inherent variability and transitive nature of those positions.
