He's convinced Comcast (despite his ratings at the Score) that he's going to be a big hit.

From what I've heard him say, this morning show is going to be brutal. It sounds like he's going to have all sorts of gimmicks going on along with what he says are hot chicks on the show. It sounds like they have basically given him a show to do whatever he wants. This could be very, very bad.

I swear to God, the only way you'd ever unite both Cubs and Sox fans would be to use re-broadcasts of this show as rain delay filler. We'd stand united, shoulder to shoulder and burn Comcast sports studios to the ground.

Won't people interested in something like this either be on their way to or already be at work when this is airing? Wouldn't this be more suited for the evening, or does Comcast already have something similar on at the time?

Comcast is giving this one year, thats it and it has to be a hit. From what I understand, North sold it to comcast, Jigs basically was just hoping for invite, he got it. The few people I have spoke to over there have pretty much the same comment, "not for long".

Also, dont be surprised if a certain "bookie" is a weekly vistor.

Does it really make a difference what Comcast puts on in the morning?
The games are the draw and everything else is just filler.
Jiggets is an employee and this is just something for him to do.
North is doing this and splitting the revenue he brings in from the sponsors that he brings with him.
This is a no-lose situation for Comcast and will make more money than anything else they could possibly put on.
It has nothing to do with ratings or quality.
It is a money maker

I thought it was da fire and da passion? Or was it da passion and da swagger?

Ah hell; whatever it takes. I hope they have email/phone segments. Either that or Jiggs finally loses it and just eats Mike whole.

Does anyone know what is on Comcast in the mornings? My guess is they keep replaying the comcast sports nite from the night before?

I've watched it, it's usually one person recapping the previous night's happenings in 30 mins. Can't imagine the ratings would be that high but I'm also making it a point to never tune in to this Monsters thing. Don't want to give that ass clown any hopes whatsoever. Dunno why Jiggs said yes to this thing, esp given how North deep sixed him back in the day.
