it looked like the wolved needed a better point guard to me. they seem to think edwards should do it, but he is better as a small forward in my eyes, rather than running the offense. conley didnt grab my attention at all.

Ant does seem to want the ball in his hands tho so idk how a PG would work that required him to work more off the ball

But Conley is also old and seems to want to slow things down they should operate at a quicker pace

That was hero ball time. He delivered. The 1st quarter threes were momentum killers. I'm not sure those are the best shot when you are down 2 games and just pissed away a 13 point lead in like 3 minutes.

They have an iso heavy style of play but it isn't working against Boston. And their only 2 creators have to take too many dribbles in order to get a shot off.

The other problem is Luka and his horrible defense. Impossible for them to get stops with him on the floor

Boston is too deep. Denver is the only team that could maybe guard them; this Dallas team sucks at defense. They need two guys to put up 70 and also cast-offs from teams like the Bulls to hit key shots. All while hoping the other team misses shots like Minnesota did in the WCF.

Not a recipe for sustained success against a team like the Celtics.

He gave up 5 points just by taking those shots because they led to 2 easy scores on the other end. That was the other part of it. They led to leakouts just by virtue of him launching those shots.

Of their top 6-7 guys the only horrible defender is Luka. Kylie isn't terrible and their front court guys are very good. It's because they have to help on whomever Luka is guarding all of the time which is the problem. Boston has multiple scorers which means you can't hide him this series
