Well other than being hotter than hell, not bad. My main issue with it, if you aren’t following a group hole to hole, there is a lot of down time at times waiting on the next group to come thru. It was brutal at times. Music is going, had live music from a group on the course also.

15 year old Miles Russell tees it up this week at the Rocket Mortgage event outside of Detroit. Made one of two cuts on the Korn Ferry and finished 20th earlier this season. He's broken par in all 7 professional rounds. Pretty awesome.

Not PGA Tour, but old guys are a hot topic today anyway...

That naming convention is weird, right? "US Senior Open". Shouldn't it be "Senior('s) US Open"? They do the same thing on the LPGA, where it's the "US Women's Open" or something like that.

Our club pro, David Paeglow, qualified for, and is playing in the U.S. Senior Open. He had a rough one yesterday (78), but is even through 11 so far today. I'm sure he was nervous as hell yesterday so it's good to see he settled down and is playing better today. He played practice rounds with Striker and Y.E. Yang and said on Facebook that both were super nice. He said Yang gave him some tips around the greens that he can't wait to share. I can't wait to hear what those are.

Didn't watch much coverage this weekend but did see what happened on the last hole. Heartbreaker for Bhatia and a nice finish for Shipley. John Deere this weekend which used to be kind of a throw away tournament but has a few big names showing up this week including Cantlay, Spieth, Im, Straka, and Jason Day.
