The smallest market in baseball and yet win consistently, it is pretty amazing. Thanks for acknowledging it.

That 1 Championship in over a 100 years sure has you chesty.

Championships are what matter.

Enjoy your 2 extra games this year. And then your team will be on the couch watching the world series like both Chicago teams this year.

Outside of one fluky season in 2016, this has been the Cubs existence for nearly 100 years. Own it.

Yes the Fluky year the team with the best record in baseball won the World Series. 1 championship is still better than zero.

 Yep.

Someone let Frank know that his team has won 1 in that same amount of time as well.

Still better than the Brewers tho.

It is but you are one of the richest franchises in baseball and only 1 Championship in well over a 100 years, wow. Meanwhile in podunk Milwaukee we just plod along.

The White Sox never played an elimination game during their historic 11-1 playoff run. Maybe one time this century the Cubs will sweep a playoff series. Maybe not though.

Where does Plodding Along Championships rank compared to Attendance Championships?

The Brewers haven’t won a Championship, but the extremely rich Cubs have won One in over a Hundred years, an iconic franchise. What a great accomplishment.

Did they get an extra Championship for going 11-1? Fluky: a team that was in the playoffs 5 of 6 years (won 84 the year they didn't make it) and were in 3 consecutive NCLS winning the World Series.

A greater accomplishment than plodding along and winning none.

Once we get to a 100 years of existence, which is quite a ways away. I guess we can compare, but not really. The Cubs are an elite, iconic, very rich organization with their own TV Network. Here in Milwaukee, we are just the smallest market with a TV company showing our games going bankrupt.

Which is it, does just plodding along in 2015 and 2017 matter or not?

And yes, 2016 was a fluky season. Thank you for agreeing.

Say the Cubs suck all you want and I’ll agree with you. Tell me zero championships are better than one and I won’t.

The Cubs 2016 title counts the same as the Sox 2005 title. Thanks for agreeing.

Again, your team has many more years of existence and a significant amount of more revenue, in 40 years or so we will have to see if the Brewers can match that ONE Championship in over a 100 years.

There is no doubt that they will lose this game.

Flubs only win in 2016, because the Dodgers and Indians, er I mean Morris Redskins, were decimated by injuries. And they still had to go to 7 in the WS. One championship in the last 116 seasons.

We can hang the Cubs revenue championship banner next to the Brewers plodding along banner. Why do we have to wait 40 years? The Cubs won 2 World Series in their first 5 years of existence, Brewers are 0-50+. Again, the Cubs suck, but 3-120 is better than 0-54.

There were 8 teams for the first 2, just stop it.

What about flexing on a small market team that still has 54 years to match your ONE Championship in 108 years?

DeShaies just said the Cubs have only a 16% chance of making the playoffs, per Fangraphs. Crane Kenney probably not happy with Jim telling it like it is.
