Started a rewatch of Lost now that it's on Netflix. I had watched a few episodes back when the pandemic started but it was on Hulu and the commercials are a bitch. I know this show got shit on pretty hard for how poorly the last few seasons went, but maybe it holds up better with some time. With it streaming, it also negates the whole cliff-hanger at the end of every episode bullshit that made it hard to watch in real time.

Great show with an unfortunate ending. They clearly had no plan to tie in all of the plot lines and supernatural elements, but it’s still well worth a watch.

Oddly enough, we just started watching this. 5 episodes in. I had never seen this show before and have no clue how it goes.

my kids are enamoured with Monk right now but this is the next watch. i was all in on Lost when it was happening. totally deflated by last season.

one of my best friends who went along for that ride with me did a rewatch and said he appreciates the ending now but i think thats just a coping mechanism. that said, i'm going to show the kids what life is like.

Lost was just a trial run/warm up for the greatest television show of all time- The Leftovers.

Great show. Ended the burrito strike of 2008 or some such year.

the good news is that even after you complete the series you will still have no clue how it goes/went.

Well... that's damn ominous.

I gave this a try on it's original run and just couldn't get into it.

it holds up and the initial hate of the ending is unwarranted. sure, some things are blatantly explained, but theres enough clues throughout the show run that if you pay attention and pick up, you can piece it together.

this was THE appointment TV show and diving into the easter eggs on the DVDs made it all the better. I wish i could watch it for the first time again.
