TORNADO WATCH 195 IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM EDT FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS. IN NORTH CENTRAL
AND NORTH EAST ILLINOIS, CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR POSSIBLE SUPERCELLS AND TORNADIC THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. HAVE MULTUPLE WAYS TO GET WEATHER WARNINGS

The whole area may see severe storms today, but if tornadoes are to develop it seems like east of I57 into NW Indiana would be the most likely target area.

Its getting more than stupid.

Their models are what they decide them to be.

In the 90s, that would have been a severe weather watch for about 20 min. It wouldnt even been a warning

But last night was TORNADO WARNING! repeatedly for hours.

Theyre clearly treating everyone like children now. Its intentional

furthermore on top of that, its the same fallacy as 0 deaths on roads initiatives. if a tornado decides to form and come at you, theres maybe a 30 second warning. the reason people used to survive these things without cell phones is due to the fact their entire house starts shaking. thats your fucking warning.

That's ground confirmations.

The weather tards don't even use those for the fear mongering . They used to need a ground confirmation, but now they look at the screen and say "there's rotation! It's a tornado!"

I think the very first profession ai will completely replace is weathermen. There is no need for them anymore. Ai can even make it's own woman to talk and walk around on a green screen, for those that want to consume the data that way.

sirens going off. work is calling me making sure everyone thats at work is ok (how the fuck do i know), weathermen on tv freaking out. i look outside and its a thunderstorm with no wind. back in the 80s we would have been playing golf for giggles.

That's my entire fucking point. They changed the scale. Back in the day, this would have been an all green storm. Now it's purple and white with tornadoes even though it's barely sprinkling with no wind outside in the real world.

I think it was an engagement that never made it to the alter...and now that I look her up on the ol google machine, she had her eggs frozen and is 39 years old. How is that even possible? She seems like good marriage material. Must be a pain in the ass behind the scenes.

It was a wild night. It was the strongest winds I even remember seeing at my house. Rain was coming down horizontally. Sirens were sounding across the city and suburbs. There was a tornado warning for my area and it certainly looked close to those conditions.
