Great post. 100% accurate. Its interesting how sometimes the least intelligent people have the largest and most misplaced opinion of themselves. Ltg is a prime example.

A little too "uppity" for clowns like you and Darkodust is alĺ. Trust me by now, "WE" know the drill.

Tomlin's not really an X's and O's guy. However, Steelers upgraded their offensive coaching staff this year (low bar after Matt Canada). Arthur Smith, Steelers new OC, resuscitated Tannehill's career. Peyton Manning's former backup and good friend Tom Arth as QB coach; moving Mike Sullivan from QB coach to some sort of offensive assistant role.

Fields should have all the support he could ask for to succeed. 2 top-shelf QB coaches on staff and Arthur Smith back to doing what he's good at, scheming an offense to compensate for the limitations of his QB room.

Bout the only situations better for Fields might be with Shanahan in SF or Harbaugh in SD. Maybe LaFleur too, but I think LaFleur's more passing-game oriented than Harbaugh/Shanahan/Arthur Smith.

Every player in the NFL has talent.

Very few at his position have his talent however. Not even the guy whom the Bears replaced him with.

The Bears and their fans better hope not.

If he doesn't then "WE" are in trouble. Jordan Love surely isn't in the Conversation talent wise with Justin Fields.

You think Fields is a better quarterback than Love?

Does your question relate to Justin Fields being MORE TALENTED than Jordan Love?

Who is the more 'talented' quarterback?

Jordan Love is the better and more talented quarterback. If Love was on the open market like Fields was he would have gotten a fortune, Fields couldn’t get traded hardly.

Coming out of college Justin Fields was considered the more talented QB according to scouts.

Who cares about Jordan Love performing better in about a little over a half a season of work? I'm not going to base my assessment of the off of that. You can however.
He definitely isn't the more talented of the 2. Which was my basic point

He is definitely a more talented quarterback, one guy is about to sign a monstrous new contract and one guy can’t get a starting job.

Marcus Mariota is a "career backup" vibes here

I don’t know what that means, what stated is currently factual information.

Well you all agreed with CBs idiotic assertion that Mariota was a "career backup" the other day too. Even though he has started the majority of his games as a pro. Justin Fields too has been a STARTER for the overwhelming number of his games as a pro as well. He will also be the starter in Pittsburgh before the year is out as well. Book it!

No, he is not.

Offered to the entire league and the best you could get was a sixth round pick.

Remember this is that fallaciously believes that Coaching and supporting cast don't matter, yet all I've seen the Bears do this offseason is replace their top offensive coach and significantly upgrade the supporting cast of their New Quarterback.

Uh oh. Better not let CFMB'S Football Gurus.see this

https://www.si.com/nfl/steelers/news/pi ... tin-fields

Quote:
When it comes to 2025, though, no one is certain what is going to happen. For now, Wilson is expected to be the starter, but at just 25-years-old, the opportunity to keep Fields seems enticing for those covering the team.

Sports Illustrated's Connor Orr believes Pittsburgh makes a pretty big splash with one of their quarterbacks. After predicting Wilson will be sent to free agency next spring, he predicts Fields signs a three-year deal, somewhere in the ballpark of what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers gave Baker Mayfield.

"Personally, I think Fields started to really come on as a passer. He was better in two-minute situations and still has an excellent touch on the football. I think with time, effort and good coaching, he could round into a consistent top-12 player at the position. That said, he is very much a free agent at the end of this season and has what so many quarterbacks do not: incredible movement skills and the ability to accelerate any offense where the run and pass are intimately tied together," Orr writes.

Maybe he can work his way into a starter role next year while an aging veteran continues to decline with age and wear might not be the flex you think it is.

Love is better at QB (for now) but.. the Bears actually did get plenty of better offers for Fields but decided to ‘do right’ by him rather than what’s best for the team. They were approached by several teams at the combine with offers that exceeded what they settled for.

Poles was an idiot in how he handled this situation
