I find it really interesting that they've elevated Eloy to the two hole in the line-up with Moncada out of order. Eloy, to me is right now an ELITE HITTER already and his up side is off of the charts. He and Robert in the White Sox line-up for many many years is absolutely awesome.

That really was a remarkable trade. I would have thought Eloy alone would have been sufficient. Eloy and Cease didn't look good for the Cubs even on the day of the trade.

It was robbery from day one. I liked Quintana less for the player he was on the Sox and more for the fact that he rose from being a minor league free agent to bonafide good starting pitcher.

He was a good pitcher. Good enough to fleece a pitching starved franchise. It happens.

41 HR in his first 151 games. As you observed, the pace is quickening from every 16 PA to every 11 now.

Everyone talks about all the other players but Eloy is my guy. He plays with such joy and even when his D gets disrespected by Anderson or Robert, he laughs about it. He's also is smart, already having a pretty good grasp of English.

One thing that is fantastic with Eloy is his plate coverage and pitch recognition. I don't know how in the hell you can pitch to him with that plate coverage. He has very long arms and can reach borderline pitches and get a piece of them and do this until he gets his pitch. And the pitches outside he merely steps toward and flicks them to and over the fence in right field. He really is an amazing hitter.
