I got excited for Johnson

then I saw he is something like 27, on his third team and was on our practice squad last year

He dropped an easy touchdown on his first target.

Get a life, loser

From a guy passing judgement on a rule change after one game that featured mostly players that will never play on a Sunday in the NFL.

Is this the winning I'm missing Bob?

Yes, the product will much improve once "The Great Velus Jones" gets his hands on the ball. Do you wake up every morning and make a conciencous decison to be this stupid?

Yeah....I didn't watch the whole game, but the little I watched I saw a lot of players who are not very good at football.

I think the lack of depth is going to be the Bears undoing this season. There is an average of 2-3 injuries per game and you're going to see many of these back-ups in key roles early on. If they take hits on either line, they are in trouble.

The offensive line has more depth this year than it has had in the previous three or four years. The defensive line is questionable from top to bottom.

Yeah I think aside from QB the one area that they absolutely cannot have a bunch of injuries is on the D Line.

But overall depth appears better as a whole.

Definitely. The skill positions on offense are better than at any other point in the past decade, and the offensive line is improved if not stellar. Defensively, the secondary seems pretty deep, and the linebacking corps is very good. Hopefully, Booker, Robinson and Pickens can become solid contributors on the line. The loss of Justin Jones hurts, though. Maybe Poles will sign a veteran after final cuts.

I am excited about Booker. I watched him a lot in the game last night when he was on the field. He had a couple nice bull rushes. He has to add some muscle to deal with the power of OLs. He seemed to go hard every play, even chasing a couple plays down.

Disagree. Wright and Jones are the only commodities we have but there’s huge question marks to go around after that. Jenkins for example is good when healthy, but he gets hurt every year. We don’t have a Center worth taking about and the other guard position is one more ‘sick day’ away from getting tossed.

The Head Coach and offensive line are the biggest question marks on this team with the D-line being after those two.
