over/under on the number of minutes it takes Dr. Bernstein to tell us that a sprain IS a tear?

i'm betting that he takes a swipe at tom brady's broadcast debut. tom must pay for his politics.

Whether it's today or throughout the week, we need to have a serious discussion about the Tyreek Hill situation.

Any update on when Goff is back?

Last week, Bernstein used his sports radio show to talk about Ohio being a fascist state and toxic masculinity is awful. In that segment, he attacked people who don't like "diversity" taught in schools and called people who disagree racists. He went to say that we need more people like Tim Walz and Caleb Williams (yes, he found a way to make this about the election).

Lawrence steered clearly mainly, but did, speaking softly, says it's normal for men to cry after football games and painting nails is not weird at all, just a great connection with his mother. Something tells me he won't be quiet this week.

Lawrence will try to produce him, but, yes, politics overrides everything on this show.

Did Brady say bad things?

Why wouldn't they trash Brady? The pbp guy had to prod him to talk most of the time and then when he did talk he was boring. Maybe like Caleb he'll eventually be fine, but it was a bad debut.

I thought he was fine. It was a shit game. The NFL put shackles on him, so he's already at a disadvantage.

He's right.

Partial tear. Partial tears heal.

There is scar tissue, and depending on the injury, it's likely to tear again if you don't strengthen the area around the tear. J Love doesn't like leg day.

Always find his "inside information" about injuries entertaining.

The layman's term sprain, as in a sprained ankle, is used to explain the rather complicated degree system that indicates the level of injury to the ligament, and strain is used to indicate a level of injury to a muscle or tendon. This is of course impossible unless you have access to an individual's MRI which will never be shared, so always interesting to hear WSCR hosts speculating on injury severity.

Depends on quad and hamstring strength, pro athletes are totally different than regular people and will heal much faster, will also have access to physician level Orthopedic care where they will manage initial swelling and get frequent MRI's to verify soft tissue healing. If it is a mild MCL sprain he will heal quickly.

Depends on the grade. But yeah, it's sorta like concussions. If you have a bad one, it doesn't take much to get another one. I always wondered why ankles are more durable than knees. Think of how many times you rolled an ankle and it always ends up fine in 4-6 weeks.

I caught the tail end of a call by "Mario" around 10:25 or so. Laurence has called the station/show before as "Mario from Hyde Park." Did he pre-record a call as "Mario" and then play it during his own show, or was that a legitimate caller using the name Mario?

Leery called in to Bernstein and Leila on his birthday as Mario from Hyde Park.

Mario in Hyde Park is a real guy. I can't find his Twitter or IG at the moment, but here's an article written about him:

I like that guy's vibe. He should guest host at the station. He probably would do it
