Mike North's Rating System

I rate my plays on a simple 10 Dime to 100 Dime scale. It used to be 100 to 1000 Units, but that was a little too confusing for money-management purposes, so I decided to simplify it in November.

Plays are rated for two reasons:
They provide you a power rating to judge how strong one play is versus another.
They give you a money-management system for proper bankroll allocation
One of the biggest farces in this business is touts who brag about their winning percentages and customers who get hung up over the same. Winning percentages are meaningless when handicappers - like me for example - rate their plays for the reasons above.

I keep it simple, usually rating my plays in 10 dime increments from 10 to 100 dimes. Obviously a 50 dime play is five times stronger than a 10 dime play; that's a no-brainer my friend.
