***Note CFB games Everyday, NFL Thursday***

This weekly wagering contest will reward the best football prognosticator with a $100 gift certificate from a meat/steak company. New guys can still join in any time and you don't have to make a pick every week. Post them all at once or in separate posts, but they must be posted in the current week's contest thread. Post your plays any time, but they must be posted before a game you are playing kicks off. You must make your picks in this thread and you must provide at least one reason for each pick. Minimum 50 picks to qualify by the end of the contest.

Screw it. I'll take Mac's Ball State (-19) over Miami, OH. They're still trying to impress the voters to sneak into a BCS bowl game.

Miami OH +19 against Ball State

home dog, ranked road favorite, nationally televised game, weekday night...the recipe for success. If you have real guts, put a small wager on the Redhawk money line for an outright win.

ND -3.5 at Navy

ND has not had a problem with defense. It has been there offense. Now Weis takes control just as they take on one of the worst Ds in the country. There is not a chance Navy keeps up with them this year.

Bear at Packers OVER 43.5
Bucs -5 against Vikings

Browns +5.5 at Bills

The Browns seem to have found their rhythm offensively. No one doubts that the tools are there for a superior offensive team and Quinn had an immediate impact. The Bills, on the other hand, have been regressing on both sides of the ball. I like the Browns to win straight up.

Thursday Night from Pinnacle Sports

Miami -4.5 vs Virginia Tech- I think when Miami beat Virginia last game, they had a history changing drive, and need the win to keep ACC Championship Game hopes alive.

Week 12 Thursday Night Thunder

Buffalo @ Akron -3

After finally breaking the win on the road lose at home the next week cycle, expect Zips RB Kennedy(Kennedy) to have a monster game at home. Bulls QB Willy may reach 7500 yards career passing. Still not enough.

Virginia Tech +4 @ Miami (FL)

Hokies run game will slow down Canes from scoring near their average of 30 points a game. Canes QB doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

Wyoming at UNLV -6 1/2

Cowboys upset the tired Vols last week. Don't expect the 11.8 points per game, 120th scoring in the nation offense to start a winning streak anytime soon. UNLV won't give up 40 this week.

Jets @ Patriots -3

Don't look for the home team to give up a 10 point fourth quarter lead this week. St. Farve of Jersey doesn't put up enough of a fight against the Pats front four.

Purdue +18 vs. Iowa
-No way that Purdue wins, but I'll be shocked if Purdue loses by 3 scores. Iowa is clearly better, but Purdue will put up a fight and Iowa will feel a letdown.

Notre Dame -4 vs. Navy
-Navy has been a doormat for Notre Dame for years. Notre Dame gets it together and "saves" Charlie's job

UCLA -7 vs. Washington
-A winless team staying within a touchdown seems to be a great value to me

Ohio State -9.5 vs. Illinois
-OSU knows what it's playing for. A BCS bowl is still within reach. Last year's result is no forgotten.

Michigan -3.5 vs. Northwestern
-Michigan's athletes are too much for Northwestern.

Minnesota +13.5 vs. Wisconsin
-I like Minnesota to keep the game close so I'll go with the gophers.

From thegreek.com:

Texas (-13) over Kansas
This isn't basketball. Hook'em horns.

UCLA (-6.5) over Washington
Although the Huskies are at home, UCLA proves to be better than by a touchdown.

Ohio State (-9.5) over Illinois
As much as it pains me to say this, but based on recent play, the Illini will need a miracle to hang with the Buckeyes.

Minnesota (+4) against Tampa Bay
I think the difference will be a field goal, so I'll take the extra point.

New York Giants (-7) over Baltimore
The Giants may not score many points against the Ravens, but the Ravens may not score at all.

Dallas / Washington (Over 42.5)
Romo's return will spark the Cowboys but the Redskins should also score at home, even without Portis.

Minnesota +13.5 vs Wisconsin- Wisconsin will probably win, but I don't see Minnesota by more than 2 touchdowns.

Vanderbilt +4 vs Kentucky- I like Vandy too bring more offense and get bowl eligible.

Boston College +6 vs Florida State- In the last 3 meetings in this series, the road team has won straight up, soem FSU players suspended, so I see BC keeping it close.

Oddsmaker or SBG

Utah -30 over SD State

Utah's last 2 games 13-10 wins. They get a bad SD St team here. Team that has won the game in this series is 18-1 ATS. Utah keeps their unbeaten season going with a blowout win.

Iowa St +27 over Mizzou

Iowa St last home game. They have covered last 3 in series. Gotta think they can stay under this number.

Nevada -14.5 over SJ State

SJ State money train might be over. They have not covered their last 3 and Nevada O is on fire right now.

Ohio St -9 over Illinois

Ohio St finishing strong, Illinois not. Ohio St still wants a decent bowl. Double digit win.

Air Force +4.5 over BYU

Byu has lost 6 straight ATS while AF has covered 3 straight. Takin the home dog here.

New Mex St +17 over Fresno

Fresno has lost 8 straight ATS.

Miss St +22 over Alabama

Road team has covered 6 of last 7. Miss St has had 2 weeks to get ready for this one.

North Carolina -3 @ Maryland: NC's D will take care of Maryland's struggling O.

Georgia -10 @ Auburn: Auburn is horrendous and even if they score more than their 10 ppg average in the sec they wont be closer than 14 of the Dogs.

BYU @ Air Force +4.5: BYU struggled earlier this year against TCU who is a running dominated attack. Air Force is 8-1 in their last 9 home games.
