I understand why they have passed over on Herbert. And I completely get why they have moved on from Slacker nate. But Scott makes no sense. Carter should never been on the field except for special teams unless they are in an emergency situation.

Not sure who is in charge of self scouting, but that person should be fired immediately, second year in a row that they handed a starting job to a guy that not only did not earn the job, but looks totally disinterested in playing NFL football.

Even the legendary Mark Sanchez knew that Pryor was an upgrade over Davis, bigger body, solid NFL player, but you now have a practice squad guy come in and look way better than your other starting guard. Two average to below average guys come in and totally outplay the guys you handed the starting spots to despite there being no evidence they had earned anything. You almost got your QB killed by trotting out two guys that suck at football to man the interior of your offensive line and protect your franchise QB, is there anyone at Halas Hall that can talk sense to Poles?

Not surprising you can run the ball now that you have guys that actually cared enough to show up for practice and have taken the time to learn the playbook.

Olin still thinks Davis is the best RG.

Brisker positioned himself to make the tackle around the mid section because defenders can’t go low or high anymore and the offensive player lowered his head into Brisker. That’s what I recall seeing during the game. Brisker did not seek out a helmet to helmet hit there, the offensive player did.

when they first started the helmet-to-helmet crackdown Brisker's hit on Tremble would've been a penalty and possibly an ejection. Luckily for defenders they've re-calibrated to accommodate reality.

Kinda messed up that it seems Brisker played out the game concussed tho. Maybe a tent-visit and sit out a few downs at least after that hit.
