Mike finally addressing the issue of no remote, of course it wasn't Mike's fault.

1. Mike had no idea they were not going to have a show at Wrigley.
2. How many times has WGN as the cubs Flag Station done a Sox remote?
3. Mike worried about a picture taken with him and Mac with the ESPN 1000 banner, like someone was going to use it against him?
So Much that he said he called Spaceball to make a sure a picture of him is not shown on a Website? What? did anyone really give a shit?
4. Said Wasn't Mitch's fault, someone else "Bigger than him" huh?
5. Mike also SHOCKED they had no Afternoon show at Wrigley. Is he serious not knowing what his own station was doing?
6. When was the last time Mike went to another Shows remote?

OK Pappy, let's go through these one by one......

1) Rock posted on here just a few days ago that you were never planning to do a remote out there. So how can you now say you had no idea you weren't doing a remote out there? Thursday afternoon. 5:00. Make sure you are listening to your station.

2) Well since WGN isn't a SPORTS RADIO STATION like the Score is, why would they be doing remotes at Sox games? I don't think they even do remotes for Cub games!

3) I know you think that the ratings are "flawed" but why would you be pissed about having your picture taken with the highest rated afternoon show in your key demo in the city??? Are you nuts? Don't ya think people might look at the pic and go "who's this Mike North guy? Maybe I should tune in and check out his show." They would be giving you TONS of free pub if you weren't being chicken S#$$.

4) Last I checked Mitch was the PROGRAM DIRECTOR. I'm pretty sure that means he decides where his programs go to broadcast from. Although this is the same guy who had on syndicated SNR instead of Drinkey and Grady Saturday night, so you never know what kind of mental state he's in.

5) If you're SHOCKED that B & B weren't there, shouldn't you be equally shocked that you weren't out there?? The guys down the dial bumped their morning show to have Barney and Whiny live from down there (which was actually a pretty good listen), and then Barney went and did his own show that afternoon. Everybody this side of Eddie and JoBo was on remote down there. Where were you? In the studio chirping about the Bookie Priest. Worry about your own damn show and not what B & B are doing.

6) If you're so worried about your picture being taken at another show's remote, they why are you at another show's remote?? Too bad some of the guys on the board weren't there with cameras to take a pic and post it just to piss you off.

I don't understand what North means when he says "I always thought dat were were gonna have one". Don't you guys look at the calander. If North wanted one it could have been organized. He's been to opening day remotes in the past. Stop blamming everybody else for things that go wrong Pappy. It really is pathetic.

I am not going to say I told you so, but I told ya so.

Too bad they blew this one, the stage was right there for them.

The Johnny B Live Morning Show at the Red Ivy was just a great show and I am guessing what Mike thinks he is capable of, although I would highly disagree with this one.

Great points. Just to add; did you notice the "I was half in the bag" defense he started to bring up while addressing the issue of him stopping by Mac's remote? Then he spiced it up with "he's the reason we are here" vanity outburst. The whole thing was superbly contrived because he must have taken a kick in the nuts from the bosses for going over by McNeil's remote. Also, a spin control to call the MVP people "classless" in case the picture of him slurping up to Mac does in fact show up on the website.

I can see the ads now---EVEN MIKE NORTH LISTENS TO MJH!!!!!!

What priceless advertising that would be.

Hearing about this morning's clusterfuck almost makes me wish I'd tuned in. Nah. Sounds to me like the karma trains next stop is Pappyland.

Did the $125,000 production team play a tap dancing drop in the background? Now THAT would be funny. The gang that couldn't shoot straight fucked it up again.
