Injury & incompetence are both likely for Russ.

Fields should not lose his job at this point. He should be allowed to game manage his way through the bye, though the Jets game could quietly decide his future.

This week vs the Raiders will be ugly, two bad offenses, but Raiders issues at QB allow Justin to do almost nothing while the Steelers D keeps it close.

The Jets game is likely where he loses his gig, island game vs a good defensive team, can see a very infective first half and Tomlin taking a look at someone else.
