Did you watch the press conference Q&A or just making commentary on the news? This was a political coup by Brandon Johnson to fire the head of the CTU because the prior board did not want him fired.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson scolds a Latina female reporter for asking whether or not he's going to the Bears game while he goes to London

(He coincidentally decided to go to London to "attract business" to Chicago the same week of the Bears game).

It's disrespectful and condescending for pointing out that the "Black man" is going to London for a Bears game.

He ends it by essentially saying yes, he'll be at the game to "root for the Chicago Bears."

I know what $30,000 haircuts and makeup look like. Now I want to see the $80,000 office of a person who wasn't elected and I'm not sure should have an office.

Oh, relax, it's just an office at the Cultural Center, the place for milling around to kill time without looking like a vagrant. If the space weren't the First Lady's office, it'd be a storage closet for artistic black-and-white photographs of gas stations. I don't know that anyone should be spending a great deal of money on decorating it, but there's nothing wrong with having it.

Yes. and it's not like it's a personal item. That can remain a first spouse's office for the next 100 years without any real extra cost. That position can do a lot of good for the city in the hands of the right person.
