That's because his offensive line sucks and no one gets open. 4 years of it. Kid can't catch a break.

He's comfortably nestled in at #28, just behind Daniel Jones and just ahead of Cooper Rush.

Stats back it up. Not that stats matter unless it involves Caleb Williams Slaying bums

It's ironic how the OLINE and Waldron's playing suddenly "improved" once the Bears happened to play bums like Carolina and Jacksonville also.

It's a good debate. Williams is clearly improving, but we won't know how much until he faces tougher competition.

I'm going to enjoy the ride as long as it lasts. The last couple of weeks have been fun, and the Bears are playing an exciting brand of football for the first time in several years.

I want to see then win, but I'm not going to wet my pants over them beating a string of 1 win teams. For me the show doesn't start until they start beating a few good teams. If for no other reason than they are a roster built to beat good teams.

But beating bad teams consistently is something the Bears haven't done since Lovie Smith. Williams has improved the organization.

I like to see them win but I don’t care when they win and will suggest that win didn’t matter because of something that hypothetically happened in a different game.

As a long time Bears fan I can remember a time when Bears fans didn't get too excited simply because they happened to defeat the Brian Sipe led Cleveland Browns. Sorry if that offends your football "sensibilities"

Justin Fields going 10-28 in Chicago set our standards pretty low on bumslaying.

I like how you turned into one of those Score callers who cite their fan resume before unleashing in absolutely insane sports thought.

“I been a fan since before Ditka, ok? I been watching da bears play ball since they was at Wrigley; my cousin made out with Rudy Bukich under the bleachers, ok? So I go ways back. My uncle gave me a Roland Harper jersey when I finished high school. So I’ve been around a bit, ok?

Anyways, this Caleb Williams guy has zero arm strength.”

It just means that I can remember a time when they were "perennial contenders" and people didn't celebrate wins against teams "duking it out" for the No. 1 overall pick. You might think that it's "pissing in your ckrnflakes" but it really isn't
It affects your sensibilities because I don't get too excited over the Bears defeating the modern day equivalent of the St. Louis Cardinals? You'll get over it..

It doesn’t offend my sensibilities that you don’t like the Bears. It offends my sensibilities that you cloak that dislike in claims of football knowledge that’s so obviously wrong that it can’t be argued against.

Your sensibilities are cloaked by the fact that you are pissed because someone is honest enough to admit that the Bears have only defeated 1 win teams. If it helps you out some, I'm also not jumping up and down about Justin Fields playing great yesterday because he didn't..Or because he defeated a better team than any of the ones which the Bears have defeated either. Raiders aren't good thus it doesn't tell me whether Pittsburgh is good.

You don’t cloak sensibilities. Definitional stuff right there.

I don’t care that you dislike the Bears and their franchise QB. I understand you have a very normal, not at all emotional attachment to Justin Fields.

But I can’t take seriously your up-is-down analysis. It’s fine in politics but sports is an eyeball test.

2 Simple questions. Is the combined record of the teams the Bears happened to beat 4-18?
And as a so called sportsfan, what does happen to tell you?

What was the combined record of the teams that the 72 dolphins beat?
Nobody cares. They were flawless and that's all anyone knows.

Who knew that the Bears defeating a slew of 1 win teams while losing to every team thus far with more than 1 win would be viewed with such reverence?

Why the "any distance" caveat? Any distance could be something as easy as a Quarterback sneak.

Yup. I always hated the foe list. Eventually I put HawaiiYou on it and there was a fairly drastic improvement in the board. I decided that in my opinion, that other guy brings positively nothing to the board, so I just added him to the ol for list and viola! It's a better experience. I don't need the name calling and childish behavior anymore. It's kind of nice.

That dude has always been a fraud and a phony. He's up with all the people who shit up the joint and then whines about the place being shitted up.

Truth of the matter is that his little "declaration" as you well know, was only made as a way to take the focus off of him and his "peep show" tendencies He thought by pretending to ignore me that people would stop making reference to him and his creepiness.

True. I had him on ignore for a long time. Didn't say anything about it for a while until that nickname thread. Got sucked back in by the ridiculously bad thoughts on the Williams. What can I say? Sometimes I just get suckered into doing something I didn't think I would in a million years.

Your sensibilities are cloaked by the fact that you are pissed because someone is honest enough to admit that the Bears have only defeated 1 win teams. If it helps you out some, I'm also not jumping up and down about Justin Fields playing great yesterday because he didn't..Or because he defeated a better team than the one the Bears defeated either.

Tells me literally nothing.

As a big Bears fan, what does it tell you?

It tells me absolutely nothing either. Strength of Schedule and whom you defeat has always mattered to me whether it is "my team" or not.

Your second sentence contradicts the first.

Just to be clear?

QB Td runs of any distance > QB passing Tds to open Wrs?

Why the "any distance" caveat? Any distance could be something as easy as a Quarterback sneak.

What distance QB run is better than a pass to an open wr?
