Have you actually watched him play for the Bulls or are you just making up premises?

Again a small sample size. In 35 games with Bulls he shot 42% from 3. Exact same % from 2. Year prior his numbers were only slightly better than his career average happened to be.

Again, do you want to demonstrate PAWs progression beyond a small sample size? Where are those stats showing how much he has improved from year to year?

The Paw has shot better than 40% from 3 for several years now. And his "improvement" in scoring occurs whenever he doesn't have the misfortune of playing with ball stoppers. Ball only played in 35 games for the Bulls.

 Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball is expected to make his long-awaited return to the NBA on Wednesday for a preseason game vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves, ESPN's Shams Charania reported.

Ball missed the last two NBA seasons as he hasn't played since Jan. 14, 2022 when he suffered a knee injury that's caused him to undergo multiple surgeries. This will be Ball's first NBA appearance in 1,006 days.

people misremember him as some kind of great player, when he was at his physical peak.

He wasn’t great, but the Bulls were much better with him. They lack 3pt shooters, good defenders and a solid pg. He filled that role. That being said, I certainly don’t expect him to be anywhere near what he was pre-injury.

Good for him on working his way back. I honestly did not think he has the work ethic to get back to this point.

Curious to see what he looks like.

Stat watching is never reliable, but he had 10 pts in 15 minutes on 66% shooting. The big question is how does he feel and will he play in the next game.

he was one of the best defensive players in the league and one of the best 3pt catch and shooters. Also great at running the break.

He was arguably the Bulls best player so people should be excited if he is healthy.

Huh????

That's a crazy thing to say about Lonzo Ball. You're talking about a guy who went into the lab and completely and dramatically changed his shooting form. You think that is easy?

Look at all the people with terrible form who never fixed it and then look at Lonzo. If anyone has more work ethic than Lonzo I'd be shocked.

Terrible thoughts RFDC, you should give yourself a time out for that.

The good news about Lonzo is his game doesn't rely on East-west cuts. He's a north-south player. His best offense is a feet set 3 pointer. If anyone could survive a knee injury it's that type of player.

He has worked hard on his game, there is no doubt about that.

But facing what he was and having already gotten paid it would be super easy to just to cash it in and not put the work in to get back on the court.

Kudos to him for working that hard.

He could have ignored the bone on bone in his knee. Others have. It's not a judgement, just a reality. I hope this works as it will become the go to rather than playing with pain and an inevitable knee replacement after retirement.

didn't Brandon Roy have something similar? And he never made it back. And that dude was one of the best I've ever seen live.
