Bear fans, I already know who we're getting Sunday for the game in St. Louis. According to awfulannouncing.com, FOX Sports is sending Dick Stockton, Brian Baldinger & Laura Okmin to the Edward Jones Dome. I think you know what that means...

Perhaps you don't know the curse...With the exception of the White Sox winning that play-in game vs. the Twins to determine the A.L. Central title, Stockton's call is bad news for our local teams... :( Whenever he calls a Bear game on FOX, they lose. Whenever he calls a Cub playoff game on TBS, you get the idea...

If theres an exception...than its not a curse.

The only Stockton curse I am aware of is the one on us viewers that have to listen to him misidentify players and facts throughout his broadcasts.

Fans, I know a lot of fans hope that Tampa Bay Rays radio announcer Dave Wills will be on the call for Sunday afternoon's game against the Rams, on FOX. He would be a great fit for this do-or-die Bears game, even if it means calling three games at Wrigley Field better known as "The Shrine" a year...

Wishful thinking...There will soon be an opening, SNORK, on the "SCORE"/White Sox radio broadcast team...Darrin Jackson ain't joining Ed Farmer on the radio side now that Steve Stone will be joining Ken Harrelson starting next spring. Let's stay on topic...I'm not thrilled that Dick Stockton & Brian Baldinger are calling Sunday's game in St. Louis. The highlight of this crew is Laura Okmin, who puts Jillian Barberie-Reynolds to shame when it comes to genuine eye candy on the sidelines! If anyone saw the Bears/Lions' blowout win in Detroit, you'll know what I'm referring...

I hate Brian Baldinger. He has a combo voice of jock/frat boy. I hate that voice. It's pure "meatball". The voice matches his thoughts. He is really dumb. I hate him more than any announcer in any sport.

I don't care for "Baldy" and his voice either, Beardown. When FOX Sports landed the NFC package in 1994, I think it's safe to say that Brian Baldinger took the course where the analysts sounded like Matt Millen...

She's blonde again and my absent-minded vocalization of this realization at the family Thanksgiving gathering seemed to catch everyone a bit by surprise and, possibly, make them creepily uncomfortable.

I thought she was more interesting looking with the dark hair.

Speaking of blondes, did anyone see Laura Okmin on the sidelines yesterday in a leather jacket? Hot damn!

I'm a little surprised by this, fans...According to awfulannouncing.com, Greg Gumbel & Dan Dierdorf have been commissioned by CBS Sports to call the Bears/Jaguars' game Sunday at Soldier Field. I was under the impression that Dick Enberg & Randy Cross, now with a porno-like mustache, or Kevin Harlan & Rich Gannon would get the assignment instead...

Dierdorf isn't as bad as he used to be. Greg's a pro.

I was a little surprised to learn Gumbel & Dierdorf got the assignment, especially when you consider how bad the Bears played last Sunday on "The Al & John Show", also known as "Sunday Night Football", in Minnesota. The Jaguars officially packed it in when they lost to the Texans on "Monday Night Football".

Fans, the man who could've been the Cubs' TV voice if Len Kasper passed gets the final Bears' game of the regular season Sunday in Houston. FOX Sports is sending Matt Vasgersian, J.C. Pearson & "FSN Final Score" anchor Nischelle Turner to Reliant Stadium to call Bears/Texans Sunday, according to USA Today. Yes, the same Matt who will soon join MLB Network as its lead host.

I would take Buck/Aikman, Albert/Johnston, Stockton/Maas, Rosen/Baldinger over them. This is gonna suck...I may have to try to sync up 780....

I probably will, Beebo...Jeff, Tom Thayer & Zach Zaidman do a good job on WBBM 780 & the Bears' Radio Network. Look on the bright side...The "Curse of Chicago Sports" Dick Stockton, Brian Baldinger & Laura Okmin are working the game at the Metrodome between the Giants & Vikings...Maybe Dick will curse the Metrodome's other tenants...

I think WGN and CSN pay off Fox to send this Varsagian (sp) moron here to do Bears games to make us realize what we might have had. Can we send him a thank you note for turning down the Cubs job? I like Len anyway but this boob makes me appreciate Len more.

I do like Joniak although I still don't get his call of the final moments of the NFC title game 2 years ago. Believe me now and I'll tell you later?

I can tolerate Matt Vasgersian, spmack. Matt would rather call an important Bears' game than another St. Louis Rams' game for FOX...In fact, even though the majority of Bears' games are on FOX, the better NFL announcers are on CBS. For the kind of $$$$ FOX spends on the NFL, there's quite a drop off from Joe Buck & Troy Aikman & the threesome of Kenny Albert, Daryl "Moose" Johnston & Tony Siragusa in announcing talent. Ron Pitts? Chris Rose? Steve Byrnes? Thom Brennaman? You've got to be kidding me!
