Maybe you remember when we were suffering through the Bear & the Bull bullshit some years back. Apparently the station lowballed Dave Baum, so they stuck Smurf and Fred in the micro-morning shift with B&B 10-2...

If Baum had taken mornings, where do you think it would have been in the ratings? I used to love the old Baum Show on BBM, but don't know if he would have substantially improved Buffone and Van Lier's ratings...

Then again, I think his show would have been a hell of a lot more listenable than anything North's put out over the past five years...Imagine that...I'm not even 30 and would prefer Dave Fucking Baum over anything Mike North has done recently...Says something about your show, right Rock?

Baum in the mornings would make the North show a success...Baum is lucky to have a weekend job.

However, I think the quality of the show would have been far better than Van Lier and Buffone's trainwreck...and he sure couldn't do much worse than this crap we're given daily.

Baum would have been able to have contests with Piersall to see who could crap his depends earlier in the show.

GD, don't get me wrong, I don't want either of them on my morning radio...I agree Baum caters to the geriatric blue-haired crowd. And I've been steadfast in my criticisms of this crap North gives us. This shi(f)t needs serious changes.
