My wife and I are going to the Northwestern women’s volleyball game Sunday afternoon and not that familiar with the Evanston dining scene. Probably looking for breakfast or brunch around 10 am. Found this place called Ovo Frito which looks interesting. Has anyone been? Any better suggestions a few miles from Welsh-Ryan? TIA.

Ten Mile House on Central is very walkable to Welsh Ryan.

I know they have brunch; never had it but we like their food for dinner.

Thanks for the tip, this place didn’t come up in my searches. The brunch menu looks pretty good and even has a nice beer selection. Looks like a stones throw from the stadium which I appreciate. Will definitely consider it.

there are a few places west of the train tracks on Central

You could go to Walker Brothers for some excellent pancakes

Frida's on Church Street has a great breakfast. Mensch's Deli on Chicago Ave. is also pretty good.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Got a reservation at Ten Mile House and then we’ll walk over to see Nebraska vs Northwestern volleyball game. I guess it’s the first ever sellout game for the team as Nebraska is ranked #2 in the country. Should be a good time.

Just took those dishonest fuckers for 6 figures in a work comp case a few weeks ago. The food might suffer as a result.
