I’ve always thought Bernstein was mostly doing a bit. Not that he wasn’t a lefty or onboard with most of the grievance politics that come along with that worldview, but I assumed he was going over the top intentionally.

That his kid turned out to be a carbon copy of that bit would suggest otherwise.
