If the Bears do not act like an NFL franchise, why would I act like they are an NFL franchise?

I doubt very seriously if it's "phobia" if you know what I mean.

Honestly, why even respond to those two dopes(DOS, USA). Waldron has no idea what he is doing.

You would think the Bears would have learned after botching Mitch and Justin with bad coaching. They just keep making the same dumb mistakes.

You sound like a buffoon. Anyone who thinks that Caleb Williams isn't a huge part of the problem needs their head examined. You dudes were all in dissing everyone with a different opinion and now ya look like fools. I was wondering when you were going to take your face off the back of a milk carton. And now that you have I fully expect a bevy of "excuses" to follow.

1. I've got a bit to maintain.

2. I agree Waldron is obviously incompetent.

There is a great deal of "symmetry" at work here between the 2 Juices to say the least

You know very well

My chocolate star
I've had a few
But not that many
But you're the only love
That gives me good and plenty

Hopefully the Bears right the ship but it doesn't look like they will this year. Even though I don't think there is much there with Caleb you have to give him 3 years minimum before you pull the plug.

I want to know who picked Waldron? Because after forcing him to fire most of his assistance, which they should have, it seems like Poles would’ve been the guy who have picked him.

Probably a conference call as we speak involving Geroge,Ted and Trace Armstrong.

Very solid take my friend, but we have already entered the delayed Bears QB evaluation mode. You cannot get a full evaluation on Caleb because you have to wait for a competent offensive line, and his OC sucked, and he needs time to develop chemistry with his skill position guys.

It is actually remarkably similar to the Justin Fields process, seems like you are looking at the exact same QB, one was a bit bigger and more athletic, but both hold the ball way too long for the NFL and both think they can still outrun defenders and scramble around to make plays rather than just take what the offense is giving them.

Poles seemed almost determined to derail Justin and tank, but his lack of basic competency in developing and offensive line for his potential franchise QB should bring some Bunsen burner blue flame type heat to his backside.

This could go down as the one of the biggest GM failures in NFL history given the tons of resources that were available.

I feel ya Claw but there are some glaring differences in the overall performances and talents of the 2 QBs.

For one Justin Fields never played with the sort of talent that they currently have now on offense. And when he was able to secure 1 good receiver in DJ Moore, the guy happened to have his best season.

2. At the same age (not stage) Justin Fields was decidedly better than Caleb. And that was (in year 2) a time in which the Bears were clearly tanking. The Bears offense was much better that season with no weapons than it is now when Caleb has plenty if weapons.

3. Justin Fields never had accuracy issues. Particularly when it came to throwing the deep ball. Caleb cannot hit the broadside of a barn. Most of his throws of 10 yards or more aren't in the same zip code as his receiver.

4. Caleb is nowhere near the athlete that Justin Fields happened to be. Fields could outrun defenders. He had 4.4 speed.. Williams runs about a 4.7. Most NFL lineman can run that. Which he is why he gets ran down so much whenever he tries to scramble.

Justin Fields was 22 his rookie year. Caleb Williams is going to be 22 for 10 of his 17 NFL games this year. It's a 108 day age difference.

Don't try and invent talking points like this. If you are that confident then you don't need to stack the deck where somehow an 108 day age difference means that Williams as a rookie should be playing like a second year player.

I don't have the power to "invent" someone's date of birth.
Caleb Williams will be 23 in a few days.Did Justin Fields turn 23 at any point during his rookie season? I'll hangup and listen for my answer.

Hey Brick .McCarver. in 2 of the last 3 games "Generational Talent" Caleb has played against 2 fellow Rookies who have worst supporting casts than he does and been outplayed by both of them. One of whom that has less NFL experience than he does.

No, you are inventing this stupid talking point. They are the same age as rookies right now. Williams would be a little older. They'd be in the same class in school. It's a 108 day age difference. Justin Fields, on his first start his second year, was 23 and 190 days old. Williams, on his first start his first year was 22 and 295 days old. Williams, will be roughly 23 and 295 days old at the start of his second year.

There are real critiques of Williams even as a rookie. He shouldn't be expected to be as good as a second year QB though because of a roughly 100 day age difference.

Nor does he address Justin's penchant for fumbling.

Williams has had a disappointing rookie year so far. Luckily, so have a lot of QBs that worked out really well and many of them never or barely played as rookies.

Just be patient. As you said, you have to give Caleb Williams 3 years because you know that rookie QBs aren't finished products.
