Mission accomplished, will let the activity director know the CNA does not have to check on you today and that you are mentally alert enough to do your 1000 bocce ball game with Sal from the East Wing.

Tell Shady Acres to keep the checks coming and we will keep doing the digital welfare checks on you via the board.

Message to the other board engagement professionals, Nardi will need to be checked on again this afternoon, he does tend to sundown per his doctor, and his posts tend to be angry and hyper sexualized as you will find with most early onset dementia patients, but he is still responsive despite his family not paying for the wifi upgrade package at the home.

I fixed the quote function mistake for you.

Christ, now I'm even doing the Nurse's work.

Can we talk privately about some Oxy??

Naw, it's all part of your dementia management action plan.

He's having a decent day today, but alas the critical thinking skills are gone....but plenty of time to wait for the board bigfoots to post content.

Will give you something to react to when I get bored and want to watch the monkey dance.

Wait...I think I hear your music now, dance for us monkey!

You are not wrong about us all being monkeys my friend, glad you are having a good day, that the new seroquel dose is working, good to avoid those nasty IM haldol injections, but you gotta do what you gotta do when the sundowning gets out of hand.

Did we ever hear if she was fired? Assuming that she was, but it's been quiet.

Now she's back to a T/W host and backup fill in? Anything else ?

Timing is everything, probably would have been the full time partner if she was let go a few weeks prior.

So far, Harris has been tolerable. Has been taking the bait on racism conversation (but only very high level, looks to move on), but has been primarily 'stick to sports', which is refreshing on a sports station.

Bernstein being out this week has been a good thing.

In the car out doing errands on a day off and decided to push the button on the car radio to 670, it had been a while since I had listened, and with all the Bears news it should be an easy day for a sports talk radio host in Chicago.

Got some cutting-edge football information from Leila, the DB's had to communicate, and gasp, they sometimes have to take chances, you will not get that type of breakdown anywhere else! Her massive football brain was dropping science like an old school DJ, rarely has there been such a breakdown of NFL defensive back play.

One minute later she devolved into the need for counseling for NFL players....of all days when the Bears organization is imploding before our eyes and we get...NFL players need to listen to a counselor?

Did not hear anymore as I moved on the FM band and to music stations that at least will not feel dumber for having listened to them.

Took about 3 minutes of listening to remind me why I never listen to WSCR.

It's interesting. They give her entire segments now to allow her to catch up on things she hasn't been on the show to discuss, they are referring it as either "Leila's receipts" or "emptying her notebook"....

Her big item on Tuesday was that Caleb is afraid to throw INT's and that he needs a head coach who wants him to take chances.

Most of her items are pretty much discussed in some form, there's not much new or profound, but Bernstein (in particular) seems to think that she's got really important items to share.

Does anyone have any idea why nobody at the Score, even Leila, has brought up the fact that she is no longer at Channel 5? It seems very strange. I can imagine Leila may have signed an NDA or perhaps there are some legal issues? It is odd that nobody will even mention it.

It’s always that way. They are all in everybody’s business especially bad news. Except when it is one of them.

We know why nobody will mention it, but it's also "funny" because everyone who works with her are self-proclaimed media experts who love to talk about anything related to how the industry works are silent. No issues covering any other topic on media except for this one. If it did come up, I'm curious if they would make any accusations about NBC being racist/sexist, etc. (you can never eliminate a grifter grifting) or just talk about fragmenting audiences and it not being very relevant to overpaying a woman to give updates that anyone who cares has already seen multiple times.

For now, I'm just happy to not Leila and everyone who works with her remind us of how hard working she is or how she needs to leave for a real job (of having meetings to discuss what highlights will be shown in her 2 minute updates).

The station would be better off replaying old Monsters shows, after all the Bears situation is pretty much the same decade to decade, and the fire they were applying to the backside of the McKaskey family back in the day is almost more relevant today.

Dan and Leila could do an imaginary show for their friends and family.

Did see that Mac is writing a book detailing the dysfunctional ownership of the Bears.

Should be quite interesting to see if Bernstein or Hub talk about the book as they would always cut off and belittle callers by saying, "George and Ted do not make the football decisions", seems the book will detail that the McKaskey family meddles in all hiring, firing, and even trade decisions, so they are the primary reason the franchise has consistently failed for the past decade.

The current incarnation of WSCR has zero credibility with the real "smart fans", the station used to be the voice of the fans and brutally hold ownership accountable, now they are the voice of the owners and avoid interacting with anyone that dares to have a take different from the one they are trying to sell you.

WSCR has turned into MSNBC, which makes sense because most of the hosts on WSCR likely only watch MSNBC and are working hard to do a sports talk radio version of MSNBC.

I seem to remember, at the beginning of the Trestman era, Bernstein was a big fan of his,
I remember him telling us, in a whispering tone "Bears fans, we finally have that guy, an offensive genius"
or something like that.

He was also very excited because Trestman was a lawyer.

Bernsie’s angle then was Tresman was so smart not like the cavemen coaches he despises and embarrassed him in HS.

It seems the show needs a great deal of production help, maybe they should as apparently other shows do, read the posts here for topics.

Here is one, how do you hire Matt Eberflus over Dan Quinn? You can see that Quinn is a far superior HC and even more importantly, a far superior leader.

Maybe Leila and Lil' Danny can break that down for us?

Was Quinn too strong of a leader for George? Who is accountable for the always wrong decisions on HC and GM?

Do we need to buy a few more books on leadership for Poles and Warren, does seem they paid Kamala Harris to provide word salad answer training for Eberflus, Poles, and Warren, maybe the hire her as the teams PR Director, she will be looking for a job soon.

Will hang up and listen for your answer, oh that's right, they don't take calls anymore.

Some of the more legendary bits are from callers to the coaches shows.

Now Eberflus is hanging up on Kap and Hoodie when he does not like the questions.

Not a great look for a HC.

The Dick Jauron show was wild. I think it was on Monday night, hosted by Hub, one of the last "Appointment Radio Segments" for me personally.

Callers would greet Jauron with a sarcastic "Hey, how's it going DICK?". Jauron would reply, "I'm fine, how are you?" Hub would see through the craziness,
and often come to Jauron's defense. Some famous quotes from this show.

Jauron - "I'm on the show, but it's not my show"
Hub - "Where'd you play ball?"

To Jauron's credit, he took a beating every week like a man. It was also followed by the "Ted Phillips Show", to shill for a new stadium.

The Eberflus "glow-up" and beard love is the single most embarrassing Chicago fan thing I've ever witnessed. Forgetting the guy is a complete idiot because he grew a shitty beard, imbeciles.

That exchange on the Jauron show is what cost Hub his job.

Will hang up and listen for your answer, oh that's right, they don't take calls anymore.

As much as Chet gets criticized here, before he left for NYC he had excellent production for the times, and he frequently required his guests to answer listener calls.

That exchange on the Jauron show is what cost Hub his job.

Really? Which job of Hub's? Hosting that show? He's been on score forever?
