9 of Caleb's TDs this season occurred when the Bears were down 2 scores or more. The Only TD passes that he has thrown to give the Bears the lead were in the games against the 2 bumslayers that were the basis for the thread.

You praised Justin Fields for his performance against the Colts in a game during which time his team was down three scores and never retook the lead, and ultimately lost.

Caleb Williams is a rookie bringing his awful defense and awfully coached team back from the brink against top-tier teams multiple weeks in a row.

Four yards in a half. Lowest total since the turn of the century.

Justin Fields has exactly the same number of wins in 6 games this season that Caleb has amassed in 13

No other Starting Rookie QB in the NFL has lost 9 games this season nor have they lost 7 games in a row.

Do you acknowledge that you praised Justin Fields, this season, for a similar kind of game situation performance that you say means Caleb Williams sucks?

When it was first pointed out that Caleb Williams was bumslaying, "Mr. Caddyshack" himself said this:

The Bears have gone 0-7 since

The Bears record is terrible. Williams gets blame for that.

Justin Fields was 10-28 in Chicago. Fields gets blame for that. This is why Fields had to leave.

I get having concerns about Williams but your primary argument about his W-L record makes it 100% correct that the Bears got rid of Fields too.

Anyone that cannot see that the Bears were tanking for much of the time that Fields was here really isn't worthy of a discussion. Or that the team was "ascending upward with him as their QUARTERBACK isn't deserving of a discussion.

Or that trading Caleb Williams for a "major haul" when his value was at its peak isn't deserving of a discussion.

While you were busy doing your "trolling" thing in the offseason, most REAL BEARS FANS were continuously making salient points such as this and being ridiculed for it. Now everyone is running around speculating on future coaches in order to "fix" a situation that is gonna take a few years at least to fix.. Too late now.

They weren't ascending upward with him. He was 5-8 last year and he started 1-6 which in effect knocked them out of the playoff race.

Williams is 4-9, with 2 of those losses being on a hail mary and a terrible coaching job on a game winning field goal. It's kind of funny how you can hand wave away two full seasons of Justin Fields but you refuse to accept that Williams had 2 wins in the bag and horrendous coaching took it from him.

He was 4-2 over his last 6 games with the Bears and backed that up by going 4-2 with his new team as their back up. Obviously "ascending upward" Point me in the direction where you claimed that the Bears would be 4-9 after 13 games before the season started?
Or anywhere where you predicted that they would currently be on a 7 game winning streak?

And before you start filibustering again, you're the dude who repeatedly instructed us on how one of the least accurate passers in the NFL, can effectively throw a "forward pass". The very same guy who threw for -3 yards yesterday in the first half. So tread lightly McCarver before you start embarrassing yourself again

Let's count the whole season last year for Fields. Your argument is literally erasing every game he played with the Bears until the final 6. 38 games. The only ones that matter are the final 6.

The Bears record this year has been disappointing this year. They had two games won before indefensible coaching decisions. Another should have gone to overtime and who knows what happens there.

I have no idea what point you think you are making here. Williams this year is outperforming every year that Fields had in Chicago as a passer. Fields was better overall his second year as a runner and passer combined. But, remember Fields second year doesn't really count. Only his third year counts. Care to compare the production of Fields as a third year and Williams as a rookie?

It should be noted that McCarver once proclaimed that it was "great" that Caleb was bumslaying. #truth

Caleb Williams rating last 3 games:

Fields has one game at 104(in a loss since you are stuck on the bumslayer thing).
His next best game is 97.3.

Do you know understand what a bumslayer is?

The last three teams the Bears played in L.A., Carolina and Jacksonville have only one win a piece.

Williams is the tallest midget.

Having a QB crush the bad teams is something we haven't seen in Chicago in a very long time. The fact that it's a rookie in his 6th game makes it all the better.

The Doctor of Dumb Arguments strikes again.

Yes, it's good that Caleb Williams played well against an opponent given previous quarterbacks didn't really play well against even the bad opponents.

It's kind of funny. Williams undoubtedly played very well against two teams that are a combined 23-3 and lost one in OT and another one that should have went to OT and yet the "bumslayer" argument is brought up again for no good reason.

Since you made this stupid statement, the Bears have gone 0-7, fired their head coach and offensive coordinator, and likely will fire their GM in a year if not sooner.

Meanwhile everything which people stated about Caleb being a "Bumslayer" has been validated.

But hey Carry on Brick McCarver. As per usual you're "equating" yourself well here.

Hey Brick, how about you "enlighten" The world regarding how Caleb's "stewardship" of the 2nd worst first half offense in the league is somehow a "great" thing too.

I guess I should change it to The Doctor Of Inconsistency.

He was a "bumslayer". He plays great and loses in the last second of two games against teams that are a combined 23-3.

Meanwhile, only 6 games that Fields played here matter in the 3 years he was here.

It's not a fallacy to say that he almost beat two very good teams and played really well doing it. A "bumslayer" only plays well against bad teams.

But, I can't believe I'm being told about "consistency" by a guy that only wants to count the last 6 games by Justin Fields in Chicago where he beat 3 teams that finished the year with losing record.

In fact, in his career, it looks like he has 3 wins against teams that would finish with winning records. If the Rams go 2-2 or better than Williams gets 1 of those too!

The Doctor Of Deflection is back. Caleb Williams played really well against two teams with a combined 3 losses. He played poorly yesterday especially in the first half.

But still, if you are going to ignore the entire time that Fields was in Chicago, besides his last 6 games, where he only beat one team with a winning record, then I can ignore the ENTIRETY of Williams rookie year and you should have no issue with it.

The only thing I am owning is believing in the Bears to field a professional staff to keep these players in line.

Only an idiot would watch the last 7 games and say, "Hey, Bears suck because the QB is a loser. If only Justin was still here to lead these guys, we would be in the playoffs!"

Field's had the first half William's had in Fields third year. Field's had 24 yards at half time against Tampa Bay in his/their third year. That's more embarasing then Williams sucking in the first half as a rookie. This dumb ass LGBTQ Time Guy need's to move to Pittsburg and be Field's butler. I own LGBTQ Time Guy as my bitch anyway so I will aprove his/their request to relocate. But he/they must shine my shoe's one last time that litle bitch.

I guess I should change it to The Doctor Of Inconsistency.

He was a "bumslayer". He plays great and loses in the last second of two games against teams that are a combined 23-3.

Meanwhile, only 6 games that Fields played here matter in the 3 years he was here.

Brick, I don't why you are wasting your time with these buffoons. They are clearly trolling because their cult hero is not who they thought he was and can only hang on to a rookie QB's struggles. Nevermind the fact that Caleb has shown more flashes in year 1 then Fields has shown in 4 or that Caleb is on this 3rd OC and has no head coach. T.Brady would have looked like dog shit on this team.

Would you check out "Mr. Gif" himself as he currently bloviates about "trolling"

Hey dude, receipts on all the dumb shit you've been saying over the past 4 months were kept too!

This isn't a gay or DEI thing. MANY believed that he was "Generational". To constantly focus on that ignores the other stuff

It is the reason they took him instead of the clearly better player in Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels. It is the fundamental core issue.

Nah MANY believed him to be the Better player. They have to own that.

The only thing I am owning is believing in the Bears to field a professional staff to keep these players in line.

Only an idiot would watch the last 7 games and say, "Hey, Bears suck because the QB is a loser. If only Justin was still here to lead these guys, we would be in the playoffs!"

Clowns...

Hey stupid. ONLY AN IDIOT would look at a QB that has one of the worst QBRs in the league (while possessing one of the top 10 receiving corps in the league) and believe that this is a QB whom you can "win" with

The very same people that bought into fallacy of his "almost" besting good teams (after bring down 2+ scores) are the very same people that bought into his being good after slaying bum ass teams. How is that for "consistency: McCarver?
It's not a fallacy to say that he almost beat two very good teams and played really well doing it. A "bumslayer" only plays well against bad teams.

But, I can't believe I'm being told about "consistency" by a guy that only wants to count the last 6 games by Justin Fields in Chicago where he beat 3 teams that finished the year with losing record.

In fact, in his career, it looks like he has 3 wins against teams that would finish with winning records. If the Rams go 2-2 or better than Williams gets 1 of those too!

LGBTQ Time Guys chosen quarterback is a part time RB3 in Pittsburgh. That should end the argument. Your just eging him on for no reason even though he/they lost the debate tou dumb ass.

OK McCarver. Here's your out. The Dumb mult. I know you value this asswipe's opinion so let's blame it

I don't know what those words mean.

But, he's the best new poster on the board this year.

Hence the words "value it's opinion"
