Yes, they mostly exist to farm the clicks of dopes who like to know that the song they like, well other people like it too and it's because it's actually good. That being said, watching the nice opera lady geeking out about how cool Jeff Lynne's work on ELO's Turn to Stone is was very cool. With Beato and a bunch of others doing similar things it's pretty oversaturated, but there are enough good ones out there to keep finding. My only complaint is that so many people are claiming it's their "first listen" to stuff like Smells Like Teen Spirit that I don't believe them or I think they're just culturally incompetent.
