you will be able to tell La Fleur is going into a bit of a depression when the skips the manicuring of his facial hair

Seems like all packer reddit is saying is that "its a very young team" (that trope is familiar) and that Loves first two seasons are similar to Rodgers 1st two seasons (not great) but he's gonna be a beast some day.

there's probably no way Valdez-Watson is physically ready for opening day.

I did not. They are what we thought they would be. Bumslayers and they failed at that against the Bears.

Love is not elite. He may not even be very good. League has caught on to La Fluer's offense and it shows.

The 6th best offense in the NFL this year.

I thought Brick was wrong originally on his comparison of Love and Cousins. But that maybe proving to be dead on. He looked like a deer in headlights for a big part of that game yesterday.

How did that 6th best offense in the NFL work out for you yesterday?

Good thing you have the youngest team in the NFL so they can come back quickly from all those injuries.

Maybe Doubs should get a bigger guardian helmet and Watson some bubble wrap.

And the worst this weekend. So what.

Yep, but still doesn’t make what Juiced said correct.

Not a good game at all yesterday.

Love is soft and doesn't like cold weather.

GB basically doesn't have a QB and they need to be looking for one.

Josh Jacobs in an an on again, off again pattern in his career over the past 5. Packers were ultra reliant on him this year and cannot afford a regression in 25.

Sad.

FavreFan, Hawg, Zippy…all have a long track record of talking trash against the beleaguered Bears all season, then disappear until next season when the Packers inevitability and predictably lose in the playoffs.

I only check this board at work pretty much. Love played bad, Philly was the better team. It was a disappointing end to the season. I get the youngest team thing is a meme on here but the premise behind it proved to be correct, that they would improve going forward. Their offense and defense were both better this year than last year. I think they will continue to improve and be better next year than they were this year. Kraft took a big step forward this year, none of their young WRs did. WR looks like a pretty big need now. They have a lot of cap room to work with unlike the past few years, we'll see what they do with it.

Also, I don't agree with the assertion I have a long track record of talking shit about the Bears. I'm a packers homer but I don't really dislike the Bears or go out of my way to shit on them. Most of my posts about them this year were defending Caleb, the only exception being when people pretended he wasn't responsible for a lot of his own sacks.

If we are going to use a single playoff game as a reason this comparison was valid, let's look at a few more playoff related things. Love's first ever playoff game last year as a 7.5 point dog was significantly better than any playoff game Cousins has ever played. Love has started for two seasons, his playoff record is 1-2. Cousins has started for 10 seasons. He got hurt halfway through the season in one of them, he got benched for performance related reasons this year, so 8/10 seasons he finished as a starter. He is 1-4 in the playoffs.

Yes, the Packers clearly entered the elite tier in the NFL this year.

The hope was they would, but obviously they didn't.

But it's tough to argue they didn't improve when they had a better record, points per game scored, points per game allowed, yards per play, yards per play allowed, takeaways, turnover differential, and point differential.

He had an elite run in the middle of the season, so it's in him. He was pretty dinged up throughout the year and I would theorize it wore him down. That's not an excuse though as he needs to overcome dings. He's shit the bed for multiple consecutive weeks.

Do you see them improving on 1-5 in the division? I'm not so sure.

But that's only really because the Packers were terrible the first 7 games of last year. Remember, all that talk about how awesome the Packers and Rodgers were the second half of the year?

But even then, if your point was with the "youngest team in the league" thing was that they would improve to a 7 seed losing in the wildcard round then I have to say "Mission Accomplished".

Really? Both Minnesota and Detroit are significantly better than them.

what's the timeline on Watson, because all the others play the same game. I thought Reed was a speedster, yet they seem to want him in situations where he is surrounded by defenders
