AFLW-the women's AFL league-is overall awful. So should be named AWFL.
But, the finals have started and the games are better with just the good teams and attendence is much better than the mostly very sparse 'crowds' at regular season games. Don't know how bad TV viewership is.

Sky News host Gary Hardgrave has slammed the Australian Football League for continually finding ways to “divide” people.

Award winning sports journalist Michael Warner has written about how the football league’s capture by the woke movement has always “reeked of hypocrisy”.

“It’s the Australian Football League – it should be about Australia, not the WFL, the Woke Football League,” Mr Hardgrave told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“They have gone the wrong way – they want to go into division rather than to highlight how each person’s diversity has common ground and the strength that comes from that.”
