Might as well sign Bauer at this point. The Sox don't care about the optics, he's cheap, and if he's good (he probably would be) teams would be lining up for him at the deadline. He's a perfect fit for Jerry right now.

Venable was excited about what Jankowski could bring to Triple-A Charlotte.

“He’s a real pro,” Venable said. “For him to be in the organization, we know that we’ll likely lean on him at some point this summer. To have him be around our guys there in Triple-A and to contribute to that environment means a lot.”

Jankowski is the White Sox version of Mother Teresa.

Three straight pitches. I'm sorry, Robert might just suck.

Ha. That was such a Soxy way to lose. A base hit that should have tied it in the 9th but the runner coming around 3rd pulls up lame and gets tagged out by 30 feet.

I mean sure, but the guy got injured. That they almost tied a Major League Baseball team should be the lede.

Two guys injured and out on the bases. Interesting night.

I also enjoyed the radio spot where Tito’s donates $100 for extra base hits that are hit at home, and they run it while the team is in Cleveland.

I dont know why he kept runnin'. He pulled up roundin' 3rd, why not just go back to 3rd? Dumb play.

This is where Mike Tauchman first pulls up lame. Barely off 3rd. Just go back to 3rd.

There really isn't a lot to look forward either. Their top prospect, or former top prospect, Colin Montgomery, looks more like a question mark at this point. They do have 6-7 very good prospects if you include him (2-3 pitchers, 3-4 hitters), but some of them will not live up to the hype. Some will begin to come up by May, and may contribute but White Sox fans have been told that we need to go through a full tear down with no guarantee of success or money to keep any of these guys or to add and this will take at least 3-4 seasons just to become competitive.

I believe you have a very high pick in this years draft. Ping Brick, he should have the details.

The Guardians beat Chicago 1-0 and 3-2 in the first two games despite having just three hits in each — something they hadn't done since 1901 in back-to-back victories. The Rockies were the last to do it — 30 years ago.

And they bring up Meidroth and Kris Bryant him - bring him up the day after he would have a chance to qualify for a full year of service time.

Somewhere, Barry Rozner is yelling in his car that 7 is greater than 6.

I am told that the guy on 2nd just came off the dl with a hammy. Clearly the guy wasn't running okay before he left 2nd base. Gee, who the fuck is the manager of this House of David farce of a "team"? Can one of you guys go out to 35th and Shields and slip a note to the manager that there is a thing called a "PINCH RUNNER" that can be used in these kinds of situations.

It really is funny as hell these last two games were lost. TOTALLY A CLUSTERFUCK OF TERRIBLE BASEBALL. THANK YOU SO MUCH JERRY REINSDORK. Two games that were literally GIVEN to the opponent because of ineptitude.

Meidroth is not Kris Bryant by any stretch of the imagination. However, they could have brought up Kyle Teel to similar effect, and didn't.

So many #1 overall picks in a row.

It'd be interesting hypothetically if Jerry had hired a proven successful baseball man (who took Jerry's cheapness as a challenge) instead of Getz. If the Crochet haul prospects all fail this could be a historically bad stretch beyond belief extending further than beyond belief

My friend, it already is an historically bad stretch. They will lose more games than any other team in the history of baseball over a two year period. Next year might provide some light but it is going to be a matter of rookies taking their lumps.

The Lions lost for like 40 years in a row and look at them now. I think that's our best hope.

At least the Cubs fans have something to post about.

Not even the Red Sox fans are there tonight.

I am watching the Red Sox feed, I still cannot abide by Schiffren.

10 run win over the Red Sox. In '24 they beat the Yankees 12-2 then went 2-18.
