What they mean by that is that they hear a sort of criticism. It's not a musical criticism, it's a criticism like, "Billy Corgan is a pain in the ass." How do they know I'm a pain in the ass? Because they've read it a thousand times.

When Kanye starts to eat peanut butter and banana samiches and grows some pork chop side burns and dies on the toliet then he's worthy of those comparisions

Or they decided for themselves after watching that pretentious ass in that 8 minute video from those recent shows.

I highly doubt that those people required an 8 minute rant to push them to the other side of the fence.

But those rants of his did himself nor his band no favors to those that were on the fence.

Noel is the less douchy brother but he is an asshole. Flies under the radar cuz Liam is an ultra asshole with a side of whiny voice.

Liam routinely flips off fans during shows.
I like Oasis though.

That's my point. There is no fence. You either love or hate the "personality" that is the Smashing Pumpkins regardless of what the music is doing.

Liam also needs subtitles during interviews because his accent is so bad. Noel has calmed down over the past few years because he doesn't drink anymore (or at least not near as much) and I believe he is now Married With Children.

Doug, I guess I'm in the minority then. I am not a fan of the Pumpkins music, but didn't have an opinion of Corgan one way or another. Having read nothing about him, and having seen or heard 0 interviews, how could I? After watching those videos, I'm not sure there's a bigger douchebag in all of music.

The 2nd half of the show wednesday was terrible. The music was terrible. Billy thinks he's better than he is. There are only certain acts that can pull off the 20 minute instrumental. SP is not one of them.

N.W.A. They were on top of the world after Straight Outta Compton. Then Ice Cube quits, Dre hooks up with Suge, Easy gets AIDS, etc. Thought they'd be on top longer.

You HAVE to be kidding. That group had more success than maybe any other in their genre. Dre and Ice Cube are huge stars and E Z still would be if he woulda got Magic AIDS instead of regular AIDS

I guess I could see being dissapointed they didnt stay together I guess.

This is actually a good one. Not a huge fan, but I get it. But I think it is a great example. What the hell are you doing posting on this board?

Well, it's opinions like yours (and Mac, Jurko, and Harry's) that fuel responses from guys like me that have been reading interviews, buying albums, and going to shows for 15+ years.

The biggest D-bag in music after 8 minutes of video? I'm thinking dumping a busload of shit into a river and on top of peoples heads is a much bigger dick move than railing on a 100 heckling fucksticks.

To each his own. No point in trying to convince these rocks that they can float....

Now, Local H...I mean those guys fucking suck. Scott Lukas is an giant asshole. Their music is stuck somewhere in 1988-1991. The band is a gimmick. A Bass-Guitar hybrid? Seriously? Why not have an original thought once in a while. How many VFW in Antioch and southside sports bars in mini malls do you have to play before you realize that nobody gives a shit about your music except cynical late 20s early 30s males? Wedding Banned and Sixteen Candles make more money in one night than your band does.
Write a single since 1995. Get some radio airplay. Sell out a 1400 seater 4 nights in a row.

Spaulding. You dissapoint me....but, how would that be any different from most women?

Scott Lucas actually is an asshole. The only difference between him and Corgan is that Scott is funny.

Well, I won't mention Metallica since I have seen that post before. However, I would like to nominate Incubus. If you guys have ever listened to their second album "SCIENCE" it was quite innovative and really great from start to finish.......

...and then fame came.
