I love Mellencamp's music but he is one of the bigger fake tough guys out there. He's got an enormous head stuck on a tiny body, so he wasn't intimidating, even in his youth. Now, he's several grabbers into life and a strong wind could blow him down. Meanwhile, he scolds fans at his own concerts all the time and apparently is now going to dictate how to be a good fan at a sporting event.

He was funny when he was younger but the sllly slapstick doesnt work when you get older like Stiller is now, it looks ridiculous. That is why Dick Van Dyke said he had to evolve and not do the pratfall humor as he got older.
