One bonehead play by Tillman there -- hopefully the Bear realize it and can come back with a positive mental attitude coming out of the locker room at half.

Also a bonehead call by whomever on 4th and goal with the HB dive. It will never work with this team. If you run, you QB sneak. Otherwise, spread it wide and do some quick slants, keep your RB back to block or let him get open for a middle screen. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

This team needs to learn to pass the ball when in short situations. They seem to not have a problem when they need a lot of yards to throw the ball short, why not do it when you just need a yard or two, like most professional teams?

Yes.

Ok - my mistake, I thought you watched the play before commenting. Let me know what you think after you watch it.

That HB dive has worked like, once in 10 tries. The sneak, on the other other hand, has worked 100% of the time. So, can someone explain to me why, other that pure stupidity of course, they'd continue to run that HB handoff in that situation?

So stupid, that I'd consider firing a member of the coaching staff on that play alone. I mean, fuck. If the Bears win this game, they have dominating control of the division, and yet there the Bears are, running predictable-ass handoffs three times in a row in a crucial situation, and then giving up a 99-yard TD on the ensuing play.

I defy you to find a stupider football team.

When they got there, I said "I bet they sneak it." Sure e-fucking-nough. And, guess what? It worked, just like it always does. I've been on this shit all season, and yet the Bears coaching staff still hasn't managed to figure it out.

Much like the "wildcat formation" , it will take Ron Turner about a year to figure out when to use the QB sneak, when most of the NFL already uses it to great success.

Then we will get an article in the paper saying the Bears had it all along

Evidently it's ok to ride both sides of the fence as well.

Brutal 1st half. I thought we were looking good and now Lovie is really bringing in
the bad calls. I kind of agree with going for 7 down there close but with how much
is on the line, just kick it for 3 and move on. Why have 2 TE's on the field if you can't
throw to one with one yard to go? I still have hope. Forte is playing well but looking
desperate, like he is trying to keep up with and impress Peterson on the other sideline.
Going to be a rough Monday but I will stay up for more punishment...

It was clearly a late hit, which was hard enough to jar Ferrotte to the ground, and then he acted. It was a missed call which won't matter anyway for the outcome of this game.

I suppose you want to blame it on poor play-calling, the inability of Tillman to stay w/ Berrian on a straight fly pattern, and poor tackling on the part of the entire Bears defense?

I just remembered something else that pissed me off. How about that pass to our Adrian Peterson? Motherfucker misses on a perfect pass, and my roommate yells out "what the fuck is he doing in there?" Good fucking question. Given the situation, why the fuck is AP in there?

No, because that would be obvious, and you've clearly thrown that word out of your vocabulary.

how about this to piss you off...

your team is down 17 to 7 in a very important game, couldnt score from the 2 yard line w/ 4 plays...then gave up 14 straight points in a short timespan, and what does Lovie Smith have to say??

"we dominated the first half"

fuck these arrogant morons.
