I guess Ben Folds listens to his fans. After the severely bland and disappointing "Songs for Silverman", and a few different projects after, Folds delivers easily his strongest effort since his 2001's "Rockin' the Suburbs".

"Way to Normal" is a return to Ben Folds Fiveish humorous piano pop that has some fantastic highlights "Effington". The record kicks off with the catchy and cute "Hiroshima" and doesn't stop until the somber (and one of the few on the album) "Kylie from Connecticut".

Solid effort if you're a fan and were waiting for something more fun to listen to out of him.

:D :D :D out of :D :D :D :D

I'm a big Folds fan, but I think his well is running a little dry. The song with Regina is pretty good, though.

Landed off of Songs For Silverman is pretty great.
Also the live version of Not The Same from his solo
live cd is amazing. Apparently the crowd provided the backing vox.
Spot on.
