i heard them working on-air together recently too, maybe a week or 2 ago...i liked them.

right...now if only Mitch puts 'em back full time together...anything would be better than continuing to let the bear out of his cage....

It's interesting that the initial post was two days before the station laid me off.

I loved my time working with Murph, but the station actually told us, Paul Agase and Drew Hayes, that we had done as well as we could do in the mornings and they wanted to get more news, and entertainment in the morning, and that is when they went with Mike North.

Before that, Murph and I had beaten Mike and Mike at WMVP...almost every ratings period. One that I remember well is us beating them in the men 25-54 demo, 4.7 to 1.7. And that was less than a year before they decided to make the change.

Everything has gone to hell!!!!

Yes, it certainly has, and what triggered it? That root-of-all-things-evil, antichrist Mike North and trying to make him into a Don Imus-like morning star with that shitfest of a show he put on.

I really liked you guys together as well. Funny, that I didn't listen to Mike and Mike in those days... Can I be program director? sheesh...

That's pretty interesting. I remember asking Rock if "Murph and Fred" ever beat M&M. He said they never did. Fred says they always did. I'll beleive him.

So "Fred and Murph" always beat them and North only tied them once in 3 years. A lot more money was put into Norh's show as well.

I know you beat M&M up pretty good, Fred. Hopefully with some of the seismic shifts taking place you can get back in and get paid more paper. I would love to see you and Murph get put back together, as long as you hit Murph over the head if he suggests doing sports spurts again...
