Hoping your team wins isn't meatballish.

But picking your team to go 11-5 preseason then picking them to win on gameday (win a game that you yourself predicted to be 1 of those 5 losses) certainly is.

Listen Nas, I hope they win every game. But I am also smart enough to know they the Bears will not go 16-0. You apparently are not. Just because I did not pick them to beat the Vikings, doesn't mean I would be made if they did win last night. Thinking that the Bears may lose to a better team makes me no less of a fan.

Wanting to see a guy play an entire season after finishing that way means that he is an awful player?

Yeah keep amending the arugument til it kinda makes sense.

You said you were not sold on him.

thats it. no greatness. no hes good not great. That is what you said.

It's not amending it. It's an attempt to make it clear for the stupid. I assumed it would be obvious I wasn't talking about cherry picking AP's games but you didn't get that. Just like I thought it would be obvious to anyone reading the thread that I was talking about Favre in Minnesota and not with the Bears. So I had to spell it out for you that I was talking about McNabb and that not being sold on something doesn't equal bad.

Because youre really smart...and im not. Cool I understand now. Your the best...and your busy.

Its putting a band-aid on a broken leg, rpb. If Nas refuses to admit that he is just as big a meatball as he accuses anybody else of being, thats fine. I certainly have enjoyed reading his contradictions recently though. What a hoot.

Ya its all in good fun. Some people just think theyre smarter than everyone. Those same people are the ones when someone disagrees with them they start hurling insults and attacking the other persons credibility for lack of a response.

Either way Nas is clearly the enlightened one ane were lucky to even read his brilliance.

Nas, what is contradictory about this whole mess is that you call me a meatball every other post, but then you say something like "I predict the Bears to win on gameday even if I said they would lose before the season started."

Fans, this was the sequence that could keep the Bears home watching the NFL Playoffs instead of playing in them in January!

When I punched up the message board this afternoon and saw 10 pages listed under this bears thread, I was like, "wow I am in for some riveting in-game and post-game analysis from some of the sharpest fans in all of sports." So I was more than a little disappointed to find that instead I stumbled into a four-person (or is it five-person?) pissing match. It sounds like something that emanates from my basement from time to time when my kids have their friends over.

Thanks, though to GUPPY for pointing out that the botched drive late in the first half may have cost the Bears a trip to the playoffs. I don't think I would have realized it otherwise

Now the only remaining question for me is why should I even want the Bears to make a playoff in which they have no chance of advancing?

Can you tell me if Nas (meaning rapper Nas not raging meatball nas  ) was ever referred to as "Biggie"?

Let's end the name calling right now! I think it's safe to say everyone is pissed off that the Bears got humiliated on "Sunday Night Football" by the Minnesota Vikings! :x :x Let's get this thread back on track! It's not over yet, but it's dangerously close! They've got 4 games left, and I think they need to win them all and hope the hell the Vikes and Packers stumble along the way. The Jacksonville Jaguars are next, and head coach Jack Del Rio has lost control of his sorry ass team!

I referred to Jack Del Rio's Jaguars as "sorry ass" because his team has underachieved as bad as any in the NFL! You might see proof of it tonight as Moe, Larry & Tony Kornheiser bring you their game tonight at Houston vs. the Texans on ESPN's "Monday Night Football".

Nas at the start of this thread I picked you to win. As it went on and I saw that you were clearly not putting forth a winning thread, the realist in me thought that you'd lose. But since I'm a fan, I picked you to win, although clearly I knew you would not.
