Sitting in a Buffalo Wild Wings in Dearborn, MI last night I looked to the corner and saw a new Golden Tee 2009 live playing with no one playing it. I thought nothing of it and continued to eat my chips and salsa.

I looked back at it about twenty minutes later and I saw something that warmed me up and reminded me of my old Chicago home. "Chicago Sports Radio Legend" Mike North was on the screen delivering a message about Golden Tee. I was not close enough to hear the sound unfortunately.

I was more concerned with not getting mugged/killed so my recollection is a little foggy but I think it was slightly different then this:

Mike North's reach has now extended to the Greater Detroit area.

Sometimes guys like the boys at IT, just go with what the schnoredog proposes becauses it's just easier and maybe one day they can be of use.

Not every guy in radio/TV does it, but many have asked for a little $$$ off the deal and they will give some free plugs.

I bid a rehab for a B96 DJ and she wanted a reduction and she would give me some plugs on the air! Just want I want. The B96 crowd calling me for work!

HUGE Simonson and Kevin Matthews retreated to Michigan - don't put it past Pappy - but I think Vegas is more his schtick. At least that's what he'd have you believe.

Maybe Branson, MO instead?
