Steve dahl becamewhat people thought he was, he lived off abritron ratings, the new system did him in……this is the same guy who bragged about the same ratings until he lost 200 books in a row.

Mike understands that the new people meters hurt wscr and espn1000….how does it hurt, mike loudly stating that it hurt mcneil,…well at least mcneil has a reason to look at the ratings, unlike the webio king.

Yes they did, my brother took me to one of his music gigs (steve and the dolphins?) and it was packed. North was never and will never be as popular as dahl, for him to even say that, it just blows my mind. I know dahl knows about what north said, i suspect he will have something up on his blog soon .

Mike may have finally lost me with these statements.

There is not a single objective standard that could be used to indicate that North had a bigger following than Dahl at any point in his career. Ratings, appearances, cd sales, salary, etc. would all show that North cannot match Dahl and it is not even close. Hell at the very end, when everyone would admit Dahl had lost some steam, he was almost doubling North's 1.7 million. I would bet that even if a poll was taken at the Double Bubble, North would come in second to Dahl.

I just listened after reading this thread and yes North is delusional. North Bigger than Dahl? No Question? LOL, he's totally out of it. ALSO, I thought North said he didnt care anymore about radio, then why does he keep talking about it every day.
