To Rock or anyone else who works at WNRTH

Why is it that anytime Mike does anything worthy of being called decent radio it gets highlighted in a commercial and replayed all day ?

I get the feeling either Mike himself is so insecure of the blatant fact that he lost a huge chunk of the former score listeners and now he will do anything to get them back or that Mitch pushes these promos out there?

Someone please let us in on how all these North commercials get played all day? Do other Shows get airtime during North?

I would guess they're desperate to recoup what they can of their $1,700,000+ per annum investment in Mikey and this morning fiasco. The North morning show is their showcase, their centerpiece, and they're pulling out all the stops to make it work. I can't blame them for that; I DO blame them for putting that a-hole and his half-ass, half-sports show in that position in the first place.

You do not like listening to the uninformed sports and political opinions of a former WGN traffic reporter?

Is there any problem finding peeps to pay for the ad time? I know there is not a shortage of sponsors. Is this a rate issue, just not filling the spots with station promos because the advertisers don't want to pay the Score's
$ amount? I understand the ratings set standards, but the demand effects the market.

Like maybe a sponsor dropping out or not paying up and running that goofy ass we are family promo. Yikes.

It's not just promos. The MNMShitfest gets everything. He gets AJ, Dempster and Coop. The other shows don't get squat, unless the producers can get them. Any one of them would be great with B&B, I would listen to that. The Score is now throwing good money after bad. I used to like Mike but he has become unlistenable to me. The Score has become Bizzaro World. George gets demoted for a small scewup, and the MNMShitfest gets rewarded for spewing excrement over the airwaves. I realize mgmt is trying to get someone, anyone to listen to this crap, but eventually the towel must be thrown in. Cut your loses Mitch and stop wasting money on this sorry excuse for a show. Mike can't drive his own show, he couldn't in middays or in the afternoon. Please, make it stop.

Then you will hear North bitch about not having billboards, or tv commercials and such. He's quick to lay blame on everything but himself. His excuse for not having a cub opener remote was "Does WGN do a remote". What the hell does that have to do with anything. He gets dumber by the day.

Won't the ratings make the MNMS pull a Hindenburg? The show IS bad, but what else would you put in it's place?

Extend Stocks and Jocks

Rogers & Ofman

Straight weather, traffic, and news

Emergency Broadcast Tests

Sporting News morning show

Score values

Simucast Rover

Anne & Jen Jen show

White Sox broadcast replay

Mike in Milwaukee reading the phone book from his garage

Big fan & Woodridge Ryan show

My vote would go to either the Emergency Broadcast Testing or Milwaukee Mike reading the phone book from his garage.

caller: uh, hello?

bernsy: yes, you're on the score.

caller: uh, is the answer Pat Listach?

Sadly, Score Hello is better than most of their planned segments. I prefer when they do it on my lunch break, though. I feel kind of stupid laughing to myself when I'm at my desk.

How about we divide the 4 hours up into 10 min segments and two or three of us will each take a 10 min segment and show North what he used to be. A regular guy who could be passionate about sports without selling out to the nearest company to in return for plugging their shit.

You could always use, "light em up like the police car taking North in for soliciting a prostitute."

Too many syllables, but I like your angle...

Yeah you're right, so I have decided to go with...

Light em up like the Po-lice....

Then you can make your own analogy as to what that might mean.

How about Drinkey driving the show but only to push the buttons for "Score. Hello?". All of the questions would be answered by Rusty from Stickney, Caller Anne, and Cleveland Mike.
