As in any business, the guy who signs the check does not to be told what to do.

Mike got the big money his way for having balls and he lost the big money his own way for having balls.

Any local media person is only worth so much money, as the audience is just Chicago.

I think MANCOW had a $3 million a year deal, which I could understand as they simulcast him in about 10 markets. Maybe the 10 markets audience plus Chicago in the end did not justify the salary but maybe someone thought they could sell him in 50 markets and thus easily the $3 million as he did appeal to other markets.

Now the guy who signed North's deal, that guy should be fired because the Mike North Show, produced by Mike North was like letting high school on the air.
