Also, where does he film these videos? There are several on his page that have people walking around behind him. Couldn't he find a conference room or something to do this? Very amatuerish.

Good call JAWS. I'm sure that the reason that ND lost was not because of that call, but other points in the game that they came up short on.

2. Convince yourself that you lost because of the officials. They are probably out to get you and you should not trust them. To prove you are right, (if talking loudly does not work) post a video proving your point. No need to respect a guy making a few bucks officiating a high school basketball game.

Looks like North is talking lessons from Hawk Harrelson.

Given that the school still has North as a coach, I've come to the conclusion they don't give a shit about anything this moron says or does.

What a bullshit lesson to teach some kids. It's assholes like North that are leading the future assholes of tomorrow.
Any school hearing a coach whine about officiating would immediately reprimand or remove him.

And I'll say this now. The second North whines about the modern athlete being babies?

Someone bring this incident up to him. He loves to do the veiled racist commentary that resembles "dese guys dese days? Dey have no class. Dey don't understand how to playz da game, ok? Dey did' want to lose? Don' let da udder team score dat many points, ok? Did you ever hear Larry Bird blame da refs? Nose, you didn't."

Yeah, well any school hearing a coach say some of the things North has said on the air, seeing a coach run a gambling website sponsored by Mr. Skin, seeing a coach selling "Steak & Blow-Job" t-shirts on the Internet, and any school--particularly a Catholic one--seeing a coach mock priests, would immediately reprimand or remove him, too, so if none of that matters, I really don't think this will, either.

Wow, does he really think that anyone cares about the ND/St Pats outcome except those that go to ND or St Pats? What a waste of time.

I agree, this is HS Basketball, these refs are doing this part-time, it is not their full-time jobs. Pretty classless move to blame the refs at the high school level.

I am currently coaching my boys 4th grade basketball team. The refs are absolutely brutal, but it is 4th grade basketball after all. I know they are doing their best and have no complaints.

I have previously stated that if my son were good enough to play HS ball and ND wanted him there is no way he would go there with this guy as one of the coaches.

Shame on ND HS.

Haven't you heard? When North became coach there, NDHS instantly became a team of area-wide interest like the Bulls, Cubs, Sox, Bears, etc.

I wonder if any of the parents have complained about having this guy on the staff.

How unusual, a classless move by Mike North. Who'd a thunk it? Well, I guess there's a first time for everything.

Notre Dame HS Mission Statement:

Under the patronage of Mary (and the Marconi Foods Co. and Mr. Skin), Notre Dame High School is a college preparatory school committed to educating young men within a community which is Christ-centered and family-based, where faith, scholarship (except for our asst. basketball coach, who dropped out of high school) and culture (except for our asst. basketball coach, who has none) interact and where the individual is cherished and respected (except for poor, part-time high school basketball refs who can be publicly ridiculed via Internet videos for making questionable calls against us, or Asian people who are all just Chinamen to us, or Hispanic news reporters who should all wear sombreros, or those flim-flamming J**s who take both our and their holidays off). In preparing our students as lifelong learners (and we hope that when they're in their 50's they learn how to pick up some hot 20-year old cocktail waitresses and make them their "producers"), we serve as educators in the faith, forming individuals empowered by knowledge and inspired by Gospel values (and the sheer pleasure of wearing "It's Steak and BJ Day" t-shirts). Faithful to the Roman Catholic tradition (except for when our asst. basketball coach dresses up as a priest smoking a cigar and betting on sports) and in the spirit of the Congregation of the Holy Cross, we strive for excellence in furthering the construction of a world where justice, peace, and love (and the joy of bilking people out of $99 a month for some worthless football picks) prevail. Therein lies our hope for the future.

I don't think he ever posted the video of the bad call, did he? Maybe we shamed him into not doing it.
