As I've got on this board the past couple weeks again I've noticed why it, for me, has gone down hill so much. It seems like every board member is looking to make the next wise crack during some decent discussions and it just veers off to be back and forth one-liners and no good debating. I'm all for some laughs, but it seems like the intent of the topics give way to non stop zingers back and forth. Zinger saturation has brought the board down, at least in my opinion.

I now prepared to be ridiculed as anyone is when they bring up a topic that is not "pro-board" and await probably a shit load of pointless one liners to follow.

Didn't say it was or was not my fault.

I don't believe my participation made the board better spanky. Actually a lot of guys Nas named are missed greatly. You can tell me the board is better and I would completely respect your opinion. I haven't been here to really know. You'd probably have a more informed opinion than me. Both posts I have made today that you have quickly come on the attack were not once directed specifically towards you yet you are very fast to be the whiner in both issues. I am bringing up an opinion.

Also, if you read my post well you would notice I said why the board, FOR ME, has gone downhill. The board may very well be stronger and better than it ever has been. Again, I was expressing my own personal opinion. It's unfortunate you can't have the same respect for someone's opinion and then start in on personal attacks.

Let's look at the key demographic for sports radio and I'm not a radio guy at all, but you are looking for the most part at 25-40, male. If you went to a bar with most people in this demographic, you'd have grab-assing, making fun of one another and a lack of truely deep debate because well, why fight with your friends? I'm as guilty as the next for the smart ass comments, but on the other hand, when I do put some facts into a discussion in whatever sport, they just go by the wayside - and in the grand scheme, I'm not offended because well, it's a message board.

I never said it was better, but I don't think it's gome "down hill" over an extended period of time.

Now, I feel it has gotten worse over the last 48-72 hours, but I just can't put my finger on the exact reason why.....

I don't think I am the lone person to ever make mention of this before Irish Boy. I apologize if I have brought it up before. I think I finally just figured out why it is that its not the same for me. I think before I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

Although it doesn't matter, I find you to be one of the regular posters I do read. You probably have some of the better debates out there.

Board had been better over the alst few months since the constant trolling stopped. However it has taken a serious turn for the worse since last Thursday.

Hey, maybe it hasn't been you. But like Darkside says, it seems like since i've joined, which is a while ago now (2 years, as I was a different poster briefly before this), someone talks about how much worse the board has become. Maybe it has. Like Spanky said, I think it's gotten a lot worse in the past 3 days. A LOT worse. I think it's time for BF to deploy the banhammer.
