THey suck. Speaking of sense of urgency I may have to listen to Doug and OB today. Should be lots of fire and passion calls.

Bears only have 2 timeouts I think. If they score you have to onside it

Tampa's about to lose to Oakland at home. Must be a problem with Jon Gruden's intensity.

Fake injury timeout. Not to mention great chop-outs of Olson TDs.

Assuming we even get this TD, Kyle's not doing anything in a minute.

True Suckage Theatre.

What's with these dickheads and their blackberrys, keeping track of the Vikes/Gints game, as if that mattered.

Flat play.

Well the season is over and Babich needs to go, the offense exceeded expectations looking at their talent while the defense fell below expectations, therefore a head needs to roll and that is Babich.

I dont think Babich has any say over the defense. Though he will likely take the fall.

To me a meathead is watching the Vikings hoping they lose so the Bears get in :x

Doug asked why the hell the Bears defense "Was on the sideline, looking at their blueberries?"

"blueberries" aside, did Urlacher make a play all season that was note worthy? Big changes needed, obviously, on defense.

I enjoyed the four month backpeddle.

How many times did he ever cross the line of scrimmage on a pass play this year?

I've come to the conclusion that with either of our QBs if the offense has to win the game they aren't going to consistently do it. Both have done it a couple of times but if asked to do it consistently they won't.

But both will win you games either with the D being the main reason or if they have to share half and half of the reason.

Neither will be the reason you go to the Super Bowl. But Rex showed in 06 and possibly Kyle maybe will not be the reason you won't either.

I've also come to the conclusion that idiot fans have placed blame at the QB position way too much this season. Today, Atlanta, Tampa, Carolina, all winnable games and the QB was not the reason those games were L's when they all could have and should have been W's.

Exactly, the Bear defense was the #1 reason this team missed the playoffs, not the QB.

I get tired when I hear the national TV guys talk about how the Bears win games with defense and ST. Special teams yes, but the Bear defense has been at best average (and I am being kind) since late in '06. They haven't won many games beacuse of great defense or even good defense.

the bears got away with being an opportunist defense & ST. they did lead the league in takeaways, i believe. they couldn't stop you but they could recover a fumble or block a kick, or intercept a pass. that can help you win a few games, but you DO have to make some tackles...

Isn't he just referring to the Bears losing to those teams earlier this season?
