Way to give them 15 minutes, I think they are doing good, show is moving along and the subjects are good.

Rock and Webby I thought did a decent enough job today. I listened for about an hour and they talked about alot of subjects and had good thoughts. I was surprised with the Bulls thoughts they had.

According to the schedule at 670thescore.com, which is different that this site, there's only 1 local sports talk show on New Year's Day planned. John "Rock" Mamola is scheduled to host with Matt Weber between 7a-Noon before they head to Los Angeles for Sporting News Radio the rest of the day & night. Hub Arkush & "M & H's" Sun-Times colleague Brad Biggs are scheduled to host Friday 7a-12:30p before they head to Dallas for Westwood One's coverage of the Cotton Bowl, followed immediately by Brian "The Whipping Boy" Paruch after the game...Needless to say, this isn't your father's sports talk radio station...

Joe O. sounded pretty smooth.

Are they teaching the youngsters at broadcast school these days that the best way to talk on the air is fast, loud, and high-pitched? I don't know, I seem to hear a lot of that during "fill-in week" at the Score. You know, fill-in week, that week at the end of the year when nothing is happening except the end of the NFL season and the playoff pairings being decided, the BCS games, this year the Winter Classic . . .
