Paula wanted to join us on the show, but I suggested we take a pass. NBC5 was given more air time last week than it really deserves. And I don't consider battling with other media types "easy programming." Never been a huge fan of confrontational interviews unless the situation warrants. When Daryl called and said he wanted to come on Friday, I thought it was only fair because he was the object of criticism in the column and on the show. That was enough for me.

You should of put her on you pussy. You took shots at her show and her indirectly and you owe her the same courtesy you gave Hawks.

Plus , she called you an asshole and that's fighting words to me. Look Mac, you got more out of this article then you could of dreamed of and you milk this cow brother.

I love the EDGY MAC. Call out Jerry Taft on his shitty forcast and get his ass on and explain you have blizzard warnings when their is no snow or Wind and then tell us last night we'll get some light snow and I wake up to a half of foot of snow and 2 hour commute to work today. Light his ass up!!

I pretty much think your a douche, STU, but this is a brilliant, unique idea. You're right. This has generated interest and spark. I was driving in the car to a meeting when this broke and I went out of my way to make sure I heard the follow up. Calling out Chicagoans for one reason or another and following it up with a radio interview is entertaining and interesting.

Further, I think your suggestion to extend this beyond sports related figures is also appealing. Beyond Jerry Taft, I would love to hear them rip than interview some of those that are capturing current headlines:

-Drew Peterson
-Mike North
-Blagojevich
-Eddy Curry
-Scott Coy and Darren DeMeio (together so we get both sides of the story)

Mac, STU is right. This would drive ratings, don't you think? We need fresh unique ideas from 2-6 and this is a good one.

Before or after the Cleveland Steamer you promised? I thought you wanted to keep this private?

If you didn't have that little problem we could turn it into the Boston Pancake.

You're the one that dragged it out for all to see.

We won't discuss the time I put the stove pipe hat on you as you kept telling me to call you Abe Lincoln.

Abe was a good man. You started it by putting on dresses telling me to call you Herbert Hoover.

I'd rather shovel your drive way and salt your side walk then bicker with you the rest of the night.

Good night my love.

Damn yes I meant J Edgar. But really why bring facts into a discussion when you understood what I meant? That is the kind of thing that gets you into trouble.

Stu gives up. I win. Good night my sweet prince.

You made a "Jen Jen" mistake, Spaulding. Except with you, we know it was an honest slip up. Jen probably doesn't know who either Hoover is.

She has probably been called Hoover once or twice.

I should have thought more...I just remembered they called him Edna Hoover.

I'm not worried you all may think I'm an idiot but a lot of people have that opinion.

Spaulding, you were dealing with STU.
You know what they say, don't engage an idiot in a pissing match, as he will only bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.
And then threaten to shit on your head.

Irish Boy stood up for Paula in this thread. Mr. Reason stands up for Spaulding.

Now Spaulding is playing this song and thinking of Mr. Reason.
