Another feeble attempt at journalism, however, the comments are great! Looks like more thought put into them than was put into the column.
I guess the ALS didn't have time to write any comments.

Everybody complains about how 'bad' these articles are, yet they are still reading it.

Exactly. But please notice that most of the "guys" complaining are the same guy.

Your point? Who gets paid to get in car wrecks on Chicago expressways that isn't doing so because they are filming a movie, TV show, or commercial?

You suck at life.

Ivan - I don't know if I should be honored or scared that I have been quoted in your message tag. Hopefully I won't say anything as equally gay sounding as that quote - damn, I just did it again. Apparently I am looking to take the title of the "gayest straight guy" from Greenie. I'm going to hang up on myself now.

Yeah, with all the sports goodies to talk about, this is the last column before the Super Bowl, a couple questionable trades and non-acquisitions from both baseball teams, terrible management and play on our Bulls team, and this is what we got? Complaining about complaining about media coverage? Peripheral interest at best. I miss the heater, Mac.

Mr. Jefferson, Mac using a full column to write about the Bulls????
This is now Mac's venting vehicle. How many times did MJH make the trip down for Super Bowl week? I thought it was a yearly occurrence. If he had still been at the station, this might have broken a long string of appearances. I'm sure management believed they dodged a bullet by releasing Mac before Super Bowl week.
Dan would like to be down there, and he appears to be taking shots at those who whiners who are complaining about the scene.

So wait...this piece of cr@p, with a head the size of a parade ballon, has all week to write a column and this is what he comes up with? With a head that size there was nothing else in there? Brilliant!
I've said it before, Terry Boers does a segment where he essentially reads a column he's written. He does it everyday. Today was an excellent commentary on steroids and baseball. Big Head Boy gives us this drivel after a week of doing nothing?
It's amazing how his entire show consisted of whining about his back, quitting smoking, making fun of Harry for coming from an affluent background, and putting down WSCR, yet his WEEKLY article doesn't have 1/10th the substance of a DAILY piece done by the very people he used to bash when he was on the air?
Another interesting question...he constantly made references to Harry's childhood and his wealthy upbringing. Does that mean his children should be looked at in the same light? Mr. "I don't get out of bed for less than $250,000" has beaten the listeners to death with stories of his grand estate, televisions, etc. Seems to me he's raising his kids in an environment similar to the one he constantly chastised the no talent Teinowitz with.
I've read several people say they hope McNeil no longer get to write for the Sun-Times. I disagree. While his articles are pathetic at best, the comments are priceless. Kudos to all who bash this big mouthed, big headed, big egoed jerk....thank god the racist peice of dung is no longer on the air, but let's hope he continues to write his weekly garbage so I can read the entertaining slams on him.

I liked this comment the best, I think Harry's dad must of wrote it.

I see all the critical comments have been removed from last week's weak column.

Is the great mac too thin skinned to leave those up? Hey Mac, why were they taken down?

By the way, I enjoyed this weeks column. Thanks for getting back to sports! That's why I read the Sports Section!

Well, there you go, so when you go to Spring Training, you go for something
other than the baseball, like the weather, golf, weather, beer, or weather.
Thank you Nostradamus. Very enlightening.

Between Mac's articles and Dahl's article in the tribune, they are setting
new lows in journalism.

One thing that does come from them are great comments from other readers, they are hilarious.

It kind of read like one of those reports you had to do in
