So, I didn't really know what section to post this in and flipped a coin. Since one of the more talented update guys and really overall nice guy is without a gig at the moment, Fred Huebner has offered to stop by for an episode of the "Sports Huddle & Stuff". It's a really cheesy program that I do on WIIT 88.9FM at the Illinois Institute of Technology campus. Just wanted to let you all know if you wanted to get your Fred fix and try to stomach my radio show. I must warn you...have the vomit bag ready.

At other times there are some student, staff & faculty produced shows. I work at IIT and decided to give it a shot. This should be interesting. I'm bracing in advance for all the harsh critiques, but I think I can handle it.

Actually, you can pick it up very well at the cell. Fred coming by isn't for sure (hence the 90%) but he's gonna get back to me. Facebook can be a good thing.

ahhh yes....i remember my days of working at a college radio station..it was so nice i decided to do it twice at two different schools

I remember the days of doing a show at 88.1 WNTH first on your dial in HS. Myself and Marcus Davis. WAIT! I had the black and white guy show way before NORTH! I Invented it!

We were on the air from 10 PM to 2 AM on Friday nights. MArcus looked a bit Older and could buy a case of Budweiser, then had spleef and we spun some great soul and techno punk mixes. A little blue monday mixed with 'you dropped the bomb on me"

We had a kick ass time. Marcus always invited the Evanston chicks up to the studio that called in, so that helped.

The show probably would have been better than Jiggs and North, but we enjoyed the drinking, getting high and chicks more than the doing the show.

Marcus ruined it thought by getting suspended a 3rd tiem for ditching class and thus, not more Soooullll Patrol.

This is why New trier is one of the finest schools around.

I have considered the podcasting thing. It may still get done. I'm a little slow with these technical things...don't have a studio set-up at home, and I wouldn't want to make it a crappy one.
