No matter what's on TV these days, fans, a "reality" show is not far behind. "Dancing with the Stars", "American Idol", "America's Next Top Model", "Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels", "Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew", and a 24/7 channel called FOX Reality Channel, DIRECTV 250. Get the picture? Anyway, according to awfulannouncing.com, the new MLB Network, DIRECTV 213, is planning to enter the "reality" TV arena themselves with a show simply called "The Pen". It's MLBN's first "reality" show featuring the members of the World Champion Philadelphia Phillies' bullpen. The Phillies' pen was selected for 2 reasons, according to awfulannouncing & Major League Baseball Productions. First, their bullpen was real, real good on the field en route to their first World Series' title since 1980. Two, there are divert personalities that'll actually show how they get the job done on the field and showcase their lighter sides off the field. Everybody's getting into the act! Anyway, the new show is "Pen"-ciled in for a June 1st premiere.

I heard that this morning with "Mully & Hanley in the Morning", Mr. Reason...It seems as if Scott Eyre and a number of ballplayers can't pay their bills right now because of the Stanford scandal...That really sucks!

Truth be told, there is a rumored "Three Stooges"-like movie in the works, but producers want to hire an unknown to play "Curly". Unfortunately for me, I wouldn't come close to any of the "Stooges". I wear glasses for starters, and I don't exactly have Moe, Larry, Curly, Shemp or even the annoying Joe Besser's hair or waistline...
