I thought maybe this was the title of The Tiny One's book.

I'd like to check this show out. I've heard good things about it. Is it on demand?

I don't know whether it's on demand. I know it's on AMC at 9:00 on Sundays, but they tend to show new episodes a couple of times during the week. There were only 7 episodes in the first season, so it won't take too long to catch up if you want to get started.

The show is good. And On Demand.

I enjoy Breaking Bad for the short list of main characters. Never thought the dad from Malcolm In The Middle would turn out to be the bad guy.

Many funny and entertaining swerves, mis-interpreting of events and close calls.

Loved the first season but very disappointed it was so short. Didn't see the opener but downloaded it and will watch soon. So how was it for a season premiere?

It was pretty good, IMO. I'm not 100% sure where ther're headed, but it seems like every single character is quite fucked in the very near future.

I think the first season was supposed to be longer, but the writer's strike cut it a few episodes short.

^bumpity bump bump^

Season 3 starts Sunday March 21st 9PM.

Irish Boy offically has someone to see his own future in Saul Goodman. http://www.bettercallsaul.com/

There are many fun you tube videos the characters have done. None are longer than 90 seconds, but are very funny.
"You better call Saul!"

Saul Goodman is played by former Mr. Show co-host Bob Odenkirk. 8)

They should catch you up - set your dvr to record episodes and watch them in order - check wikipedia episode list.

or just buy or rent them:

Amazon.com has seasons 1 and 2, blockbuster does as well.

http://www.blockbuster.com/search/produ ... eaking+bad

Season 2 can be watched for free on Comcast on demand until the season premeire. I just saw it on there last night, and might check it out. I've heard it is good.

Watched Episode 3 last night. There are no good guys on this show.

Character Recap:

Walt- Told his wife he was cooking meth(dumbass!) when she thought he and Jessie were dealing pot. Walt was offered 3Mill. for 3 months of cooking by the owner of Los Pollos Hermanos. Showed wifey his 500 grand he's already made and wants to give it to her so the family will be taken care of when he goes to cook in case he doesn't come back.

Skyler(Walts wife)- Threw Walt out of his own house and has been going the low cut top look now that the baby popped out. Been seeing a female lawyer to work up divorce papers. Threatened to call the po-po on Walt for all the drug stuff and of course when the cops show up, they ask did he hit you or anything like that she says no. Her settings are at maximum bitch.

Jessie- Guy has been in rehab after his girlfriend/neighbor OD'd on heroin and did the choke on her own vomit thing. This causes her father Q, err, John De Lancie to lose focus at his job of air traffic controller and causes him to crash two planes into each other. Jessie cleans up, gets his half of the cooking money from Saul Goodman and buys his own parents house at half price for straight cash homie. Spent the whole last episode calling his dead GF's cell number just to hear her voice message, finally at the end of the episode the number is dissconnected.

Walt's brother-in-law DEA agent Hank- What an asshole on many levels. Been looking for this guy cooking meth called "Heisenberg". Doesn't realise that it's Walt. Wants be be friggin Elliot Ness of the Southwest but is no habla espanol, and is ridiculed when he gets to El Paso by the other fed agents. Only survivor of the Tortuga bomb.( Yes, Danny Trejo played "The Turtle") The cartel was suspicious of him that he was working with the feds, which he was, and Tuco's twin cousins chopped his head off. These crazy fucks stick a bomb inside a giant turtle, stick Tortuga's head on the thing and send it out to where he was to meet with the federales. The agents are fucking with Hank when they see what has happened to their snitch. "What's wrong Hank, never seen a decapitated head on a turtle before?" As Hank goes to his truck to puke and catch his breath, boom goes the dnyamite.

Tuco- local drug leader that was loco all damn day. Met his untimely demise and now his crazy twin cousins have crossed the border and are looking for revenge. They have already killed like thirty people and are nowhere near their target of Walt White.

Saul Goodman- shady ass lawyer who helped out when one of Walt and Jessie's runners gets pinched. David Spada makes him look like Perry fucking Mason though. He's all smiles and catchphrases and constitutional law and shit, but there is a darkness just below the surface.
Got the guys on the money laundering thing and wants to facilitate the continuation of the cooking of the meth. Really wants the guys to keep cooking and is not letting up on taking no for an answer.

Owner Los Pollos Hermanos- World's most unassuming big time drug dealer. But he does have 20 locations throughout the southwest and it's the perfect business model. Frying chickens in the front and dealing crystal in the back. Brilliant! Meets with the cartel guy, Tuco's uncle(wheelchair bound and mute, only uses a bell to communicate), and the crazy twins to discuss the limited future of Walt White. Basically the owner says don't kill him until after he's done cooking and the cartel guy says the twins don't listen very well.

The episode also showed Jessie starting to cook on his own now that he has learned how to do it well from "Heisenberg" and is clean and sober. Walt showed his very strong pimp hand and made his wife call the cops. Hank went all Dirty Harry on a couple of guys in a dive bar and is still having flashbacks from the bomb that blew up his DEA pals. Skyler went and fucked her boss after conceding to Walt and taking the money to let him stay at home before he goes away. Saul Goodman and the Los Pollos owner are in league with each other, but they haven't showed any direct contact between the two.

And lastly, they did the out of time thing. Danny Trejo was killed last season and they showed him meeting with the cartel guy this last episode and the crazy twins show up and chop his head off. They're showing the crazy twins out of sequence and back filling their story. They haven't spoken yet and do the stare at each other then act thing. Next weeks preview shows the RV where the guys cook crossing paths with DEA agent Hank. Car chase?? Who knows. Tune in Sunday at 9 and check with your on demand programming to catch up with this season.

Gotta love Saul Goodman.

I'm gonna get you a second phone call, okay? You're gonna call your mommy or your daddy or your parish priest or your boyscout leader, and they're gonna deliver me a check for $4650.00. I'm gonna write that down on the back of my business card, okay Four, Six, Five, Zero, okay? And I need that in a cashiers check or a money order, doesn't matter. Actually, ah, I want it in a money order and ah, make it out to "Ice Station Zebra Associates". That's my loan out. It's totally legit.. its done just for tax purposes. After that we can discuss Visa or Mastercard but definitely not American Express, so don't even ask, alright. Any questions?

Saul: Mayhew. Is that Irish or English?
Walter: Irish.
Saul: Faith and begorrah! A fellow potato eater! My real name's McGill. The Joo thing I just do for the homeboys. They all want a pipe-hitting member of the tribe, so to speak.

I dont have a DVR, Comcast, or Tivo. I've been watching this season though after reading the synopsis of the first two seasons and I think I have a decent idea what has happened. It's a pretty good show, not great or anything.

Bump. I've plowed through the first three seasons since Memorial Day weekend. Totally hooked. A few very tense episodes, including the last one with Walt running over the two drug dealers before Jesse got killed.

I don't think this show can last more than one or two more seasons. At some point, it's going to get more and more ridiculous. Like Weeds.

I love this show.

Just finished season 4.

Ive found myself rooting for and against every character at some point (except for the sun and Hank's wife who are both useless)

Jesse saying bitch is awesome
Gus is awesome all around
So is Mike
Saul Goodman and his website are fucking awesome. "Have you had a loved one die in a plane crash recently?"

Great show.

Gonna watch the part of season 5 that is out in the next week or so.

I would have been posting all along but have been worried about reading spoilers.

I probably wont open this thread again til Im caught up

Also, the use of sound/audio on this show is some other level shit

When Walt was laughing asking Skylar where the money was and the music stopped

The sound of Gus chair pulling up to Victor

The footsteps...

This scene perfectly describes that. The birds chirping in the background. It's the best show ever made. I think I just decided it.

Probably the most hilarious of all Saul's comments, but probably 97% of what he says is hilarious.

I liked Saul Goodman in his original job as a NYPD detective in The Illuminatus! Trilogy.

I like to think that Vince Gilligan named Bob Odenkirk's character after the guy in the trilogy. That's a damn fine book.

The Skyler character is very polarizing for me. I haven't rooted so hard for a female character to get killed off since watching Marcia Gay Harden as the evangelical crazy lady in The Mist movie.

I know Skyler is not going to get clipped(right?) But she grates me. Her playing the bimbo secretary when the IRS guy showed up was really good though.

BB is one of the greatest shows in the history of TV. I cant wait for the final season to start. The last episode will most certainly be a thing...whatever happens.
